Adorned with five kinds of silken garments, the body is inwardly clad in the white vajra secret garment, a sign of the completion of the bodhisattva vehicle, and upon it is a red undergarment. As a sign of the completion of the mantra vehicle, there is a blue robe. As a sign of the completion of the pratimoksha vehicle, there is a red dharma robe with golden borders. And as a sign of the complete perfection of all vehicles, there is a brocade cloak of a powerful color, all worn in layers, with a wrathful yet smiling countenance, possessing the marks and signs, and blazing with supreme splendor. The two feet are in the posture of a king at play. Outside of this, a rainbow tent is erected, and within the web of five-colored light rays that appear as a net of many eyes, in the center of the swirling rainbow light, are the eight vidyadharas of India, the eighty-four masters of yoga, and the twenty-five great siddhas of Tibet, along with all the panditas and siddhas of India and Tibet who reside on the level of vidyadharas. The peaceful and wrathful deities, vast and boundless, associated with the six great tantra classes, the heroes and dakinis of the three places, the protectors of the Dharma, the guardians, the wealth deities, and the hosts of treasure lords, all abide like dense clouds. All of these, their forms appearing but without inherent existence, clear and empty, without grasping, like a reflection of the moon in water, in the manner of the equality of the main deity and the retinue, the ordinary appearances naturally cease. Visualize this clearly, and with devotion and heartfelt melodious sounds: "Hūṃ, in the northwest of the land of Oddiyana," and so on, until "Guru Padmasiddhi Hūṃ." As soon as this is recited, the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain, the Lotus Light Palace, along with all that supports and is supported, are invited to come forth, and one contemplates that they merge inseparably into one taste with the samaya being generated by oneself. Secondly, offering the seven branches: prostration, offering, confession, rejoicing, requesting the turning of the wheel of Dharma, requesting not to pass into nirvana, and dedicating the root of virtue to enlightenment. First, the branch of prostration, the antidote to pride: Hrīḥ! Simultaneously with reciting "I, my body," etc., the best prostration is the prostration of seeing the ultimate, that is, realizing that the one who prostrates and the object of prostration are inseparable, and thereby gaining certainty in wisdom. As the Pañcatraya says: Just as water is poured into water, just as oil is poured into oil, whoever fills his own wisdom, whatever is seen well, this

I prostrate! As it is said, in the unoriginated Dharmakaya's self-display, in the unobstructed manifestation of illusion, one's own body transforms into countless forms. To the right is the father of this life, to the left is the mother, in front are the enemies one hates, and behind are the obstructing demons, with these two as the foremost. Visualize all sentient beings of the six realms, equal to the extent of space, transforming into human forms, appearing like a marketplace gathering. The two ankles should be aligned, the body straightened, and the two hands should be joined in prayer at the heart. Kunkhyen Jigme Lingpa said, "Not bending the body in a casual or habitual way, but respectfully displaying realization at the heart, the container of cupped hands held tightly for fear of flowers, is imitating the behavior of a small bird." As it is said. Then, the palms must be placed on the crown of the head. The Sutra of Great Liberation says, "Like a lotus flower just beginning to bloom, the two hands joined in prayer on the crown of the head." Also, the Great Omniscient One said, "Like a lotus flower just beginning to bloom, residing in a delightful pond, the two hands joined in prayer on the crown of the head, accompanied by songs of praise, the body transforming into immeasurable forms, I respectfully prostrate." As it is said. When placing the palms on the crown of the head, remember the qualities of the body of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. By prostrating to the Nirmanakaya of the Lama's body, may the obscurations of the body of oneself and all other sentient beings be purified, and may one ultimately attain the invisible Ushnisha of the Buddhas. When placing the palms at the throat, remember the qualities of the speech of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. By prostrating to the Sambhogakaya of the Lama's speech, may the obscurations of the speech of oneself and all other sentient beings be purified, and may one ultimately attain the Dharma conch of speech, which has the appearance of conch-like patterns, and through this, may one attain the sixty branches of Brahma's voice. When placing the palms at the heart, remember the qualities of the mind of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. By prostrating to the Dharmakaya of the Lama's mind, may the obscurations of the mind of oneself and all other sentient beings be purified, and ultimately, because the minds of all the Buddhas are unfathomable, there is a Swastika mark at the heart, and through this, may one attain the wisdom of knowing all that exists.
