Then, prostrating the entire body respectfully on the ground is called the prostration of Dipamkara Buddha. It is also called placing the five parts of the body on the ground: one forehead, two palms, and two knees. By placing these five parts on the ground and prostrating, may the five poisons of afflictions and the equal obscurations of the three doors of body, speech, and mind be purified. May we ultimately attain the state of the five kayas and be able to lead the impure beings of the five realms to the pure land of the five kayas. Recite and contemplate in this way. By offering prostrations with five perfections, may all beings of the five lineages become empty. May the five aggregates of contaminated appropriation be severed. May we attain the five uncontaminated aggregates. May the five powers be completely perfected. May the five eyes be completely purified. Pray in this way. Thus, joining the palms at the three places (forehead, throat, heart), prostrating through the door of the body, reciting words of prostration and supplication with speech, and with the faith that you know everything we do and the devotion of complete surrender with the mind. Together with oneself and all sentient beings, like ripe ears of grain being blown in one direction by the wind, the visualization of prostration, etc., it is very important to unite the three, body, speech, and mind, into one. The benefits of prostrating in this way are: The Omniscient One said, "The merit as numerous as the dust particles of the mountains and oceans of this earth does not exist in the three realms. Bowing the body, one will become a wheel-turning king as many times as the number of dust particles between oneself and the Great Powerful One, and ultimately reach the state of supreme peace." The Guhyagarbha Tantra says, "Whoever reverently prostrates to the body of the Buddhas with the three doors, the merit of that one, if it had a form, the world would not be able to contain it." The Vinaya Sutra says, "Monks, the ripening of your prostrations with faith to the stupa of the Tathagata's hair and nails is that as long as you do not generate anger towards those who practice similarly to Brahma, you will experience the bliss of a wheel-turning king as many times as the number of fine dust particles up to the golden ground, and you will go among gods and humans." Secondly, as an antidote to miserliness, the limb of offering, there are offerings that are actually possessed, offerings that are emanated by the mind, and samadhi.

As the great omniscient one said, "The white moon of the autumn night, free from eclipses, surrounded by a garland of stars; the sun blazing beautifully with a net of a thousand lights; are offered by all the ornaments of the four continents." As it is said, in the east, butter lamps of precious sun and moon; in the south, incense of sandalwood forests; in the west, offerings of white glacier butter; in the north, offerings of blue pottery water; below, flowers of the golden earth; above, music of turquoise dragon sounds, and so forth, are offered. Second, the offering emanated by the mind is, from "Resting the Mind in its Natural State": "All that is pleasing in the world, such as gods, immeasurable layered palaces, with nets of jewels spread everywhere; rains of songs, dances, and sweet sounds of praise falling; offering with hundreds of thousands of supreme ornaments." And, "Charming ladies holding precious songs and dances, etc., various offering goddesses like clouds swirling, may all the victorious ones and their retinues be pleased." Thus it is. Third, the offering of the ocean of Samadhi is, the Omniscient One said, "With the mind of Samadhi, pervading the expanse of the sky, offering with the ocean of outer, inner, and secret offering clouds." Thus it is said. These are called actual arrangements, mind-emanations, and so on. The benefits of offering in this way are, as the Sutra says, "Whatever happiness and joy there is in the world, all of that comes from offering to the Three Jewels, therefore, always strive to offer to the Three Jewels." By remembering the Three Jewels in one's mind, making one prayer, performing one prostration, offering just one flower, reciting the name once with a distracted mind, and even joining palms upon seeing a Buddha image drawn on a wall while agitated, there are immeasurable benefits. As it says in the "White Lotus of the Sacred Dharma": "To an image of the Sugata drawn on a wall, joining palms with a faithful mind, offering just one flower, or even offering with a disturbed mind, they will gradually become Buddhas." And, "Children playing happily, building stupas with sand, or drawing images on walls with sticks or fingernails, they too will attain this supreme Bodhi." Thus it is said. The third branch, the limb of confessing sins, the antidote to hatred, is, the beginning of cyclic existence
