The so-called "Five Products of the Cow" are as follows: As it is said, "The pure things eaten by the cow that grazes in the monastery, the cow's butter, milk, and yogurt, along with its dung and urine, are called the five products of the cow, thus spoke the Victorious One." That is, as a symbol of moistening one's own mind-stream with compassion and bodhicitta, one smears them in a clockwise direction from the edge of the mandala, reciting: ༀ་བཛྲ་བྷུ་མི་ཨཱ་ཧཱུྃ། (Tibetan) oṃ vajra bhūmi āḥ hūṃ. (Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ वज्र भूमि आः हूँ) (Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ vajra bhūmi āḥ hūṃ) (Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Vajra Ground, Ah, Hum) "The base is completely pure," and so on. At this time, one visualizes that upon the mandala, on top of the mandala of elements stacked in layers, is a vast and immeasurable powerful golden ground. ༀ་བཛྲ་རེ་ཁེ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ། (Tibetan) oṃ vajra rekhe āḥ hūṃ. While reciting, one circles the edge of the mandala with the ring finger and places the first layer of the iron fence. In the center, one recites the syllable "Hūṃ," and places the flower held between the thumb and forefinger of the right hand in the center, visualizing that this dispels obstacles. Alternatively, according to another tradition, the phrase "from Hūṃ" and so on, it is said that "Hūṃ" is the seed from which Mount Meru arises. Again, one places a larger heap on the same spot, reciting "King of Mountains, Mount Meru," and visualizes it accordingly. Starting from the front, one places them in a clockwise direction, reciting "Eastern Videha," placing it in the east, and visualizing the shape of this continent as a half-moon, its essence being crystal. Reciting "Southern Jambudvipa," one places it in the south, and visualizes the shape of this continent as trapezoidal, its essence being blue lapis lazuli. Reciting "Western Godaniya," one places it in the west, and visualizes the shape of this continent as circular, its essence being ruby. Reciting "Northern Kuru," one places it in the north, and visualizes the shape of this continent as square, its essence being gold. To the right of Eastern Videha, one places "Body," and to the left, "Superior Body." To the right of Southern Jambudvipa, one places "Fan," and to the left, "Other Fan." To the right of Western Godaniya, one places "Possession," and to the left, "Superior Path Goer." To the right of Northern Kuru, one places "Kuru," and to the left, "Kuru Moon," all of which have the same shape as their respective central continents. In Eastern Videha, there are mountains of various jewels. In Southern Jambudvipa, there is the wish-fulfilling tree made of the seven precious substances, having the nature of fulfilling all desires. In Western Godaniya, there is the wish-granting red cow, beautiful in form and pleasing to the eye. In Northern Kuru, there are crops that do not need to be cultivated, having abundant flavor and nourishment. In front of the jewel mountain, there is a golden wheel with a thousand spokes, made of the golden water of the Jambu River.

In front of the wish-granting cow, there is a queen jewel, beautiful in form and pleasing to the eye, free from the five faults of women and endowed with eight qualities. In front of the unplowed crops, there is a minister jewel, whose glory is unbearable, capable of instantly accomplishing all the king's desires.
