Complete with the syllables NA (藏文:ན,梵文天城体:ण,梵文罗马拟音:ṇa,汉语字面意思:那), SUM (藏文:སུམ,梵文天城体:सु,梵文罗马拟音:su,汉语字面意思:森), and TSOG (藏文:ཚོགས,梵文天城体:स,梵文罗马拟音:sa,汉语字面意思:总), and possessing the radiance of the five self-luminous lights. Compassion is uninterrupted, pervading all, spontaneously liberated, and uncompounded. Alternatively, the outer Three Jewels are: The Buddha is encompassed by two meanings: from the aspect of non-origination, it is the Dharmakaya for one's own benefit; from the aspect of non-cessation, it is the Rupakaya for the benefit of others. The Dharma is encompassed by scripture and realization: the Dharma of scripture is the twelve branches of scripture; the Dharma of realization is the three trainings. The Sangha is encompassed by realization and liberation: possessing the two qualities of correctly knowing the true meaning to be realized, and being liberated from the stains of the two obscurations to be abandoned. Or, it is encompassed by possession and liberation: possessing the three trainings through understanding the meaning of the three pitakas through hearing, thinking, and meditating; liberating the mind-stream through the three trainings. The inner Three Jewels are: the Lama, whose nature of mind is free from the extremes of elaboration; the Yidam, whose self-display arises uninterruptedly; the Dakini, the play of non-dual bliss and emptiness. The secret Three Jewels are: the view of the ground of original purity, free from elaboration; the meditation of spontaneous perfection, clear light; the fruition of considering it to be the nature of the three kayas; this is also a way of considering it. Thus, one should truly understand the reasons for the object of refuge. Second, visualizing the field of merit: In the state of remembering the qualities of the object of refuge, visualize all these places where you are, as beautiful and pleasing pure lands made of various jewels, without any valleys or unevenness, as flat as the palm of a young woman, as pure as the surface of a well-polished mirror, as soft to the touch as a silk cushion, large and extremely vast, stainless and luminous, covered with a net of gold, radiating hundreds of thousands of rays of light. In the very center, in front of oneself, is a wish-fulfilling tree with five branches, abundant with leaves and fruits, spreading in all directions, pervading the entire expanse of the sky in the east, south, west, and north. All the branches are adorned with various precious chimes and hanging ornaments. On the branch in the center, slightly higher, on a precious throne supported by eight great lions, on top of a triple seat of various lotuses, sun, and moon, sits the essence of all Buddhas of the three times.
