It is so. Moreover, the suffering of suffering is: the previous suffering has not yet been relieved, and the next suffering presses on, like a boil on a sore, a wound on a boil, the death of the father on top of the death of the mother, the death of a loved one on top of being chased by enemies, and so on. The suffering of change is: as the sutra says, "The suffering of change is that it is happy at birth, happy at dwelling, but painful at cessation." Thus, at the time of change, the previous happiness itself becomes the cause of mental pain, such as the sorrow after the death of a son. If there is no son, there will be no sorrow after the death of the son. Similarly, even while being happy now, there is also suffering, for example, like the uncle of Jetsun Milarepa, who welcomed the bride in the morning and held a happy feast, but in the afternoon the house collapsed and he uttered cries of suffering, and so on. The suffering of conditioning is: all contaminated aggregates are pervaded by the suffering of conditioning because they are the cause of approaching samsara. As the sutra says, "Whatever feeling there is, all of it is suffering." For the deluded appearances of sentient beings, all feelings are of the nature of suffering. The feeling of suffering is related to the suffering of suffering. The feeling of happiness, even if one experiences happiness once, later becomes the cause of suffering, so it is related to the suffering of change. The feeling that is neither happiness nor suffering is related to the suffering of conditioning because it is associated with the dharma of ignorance. The suffering of birth is: thus, the people of Jambudvipa are born from the womb. In the midst of the father's sperm and mother's blood, the intermediate being approaches and the consciousness of rebirth enters into it. The Omniscient One said: "Ignorance, consciousness, wind, mind, bindu gather, like mercury, snot, hard flesh, fish bone, frog-like, gradually forming the body, in seven weeks successively. The mother's fatigue, hunger, thirst, heat, cold, etc., even a little suffering is immeasurable. Dark, narrow, frightening, the smell is unpleasant, the suffering of shrinking is unbearable." Thus, the first seven days are called "mer mer po," like the appearance of mercury; the second seven days are called "nur nur," like the appearance of snot; the third seven days are called "tar tar po," like a thumb.

like a form. The fourth week hardens, like the shape of an egg. The fifth week is round, like a lotus petal. The sixth week is all-pervading, like the shape of a fish. The seventh week is like the shape of a turtle. Thus, when all the limbs, minor limbs, and faculties are complete, the inside of the mother's womb is narrow. Inside the darkness, there is a foul smell, and one experiences suffering like a prison. When the mother eats hot food, one experiences suffering like being burned in a fire. When she eats cold food, one experiences suffering like being placed in cold water. When sleeping, one experiences suffering like being crushed by a heavy object. When full, one experiences suffering like being squeezed between rocks. When hungry, one experiences suffering like falling into a cliff. When walking, staying, or moving, one experiences suffering like being carried away by the wind, and so on. Then, when the number of months is complete, at the time of birth, the wind of karma of existence turns the head and tail upside down. When emerging from the midst of the bone machine, one experiences suffering like being pulled out from iron tongs. Even after being born, when falling onto the mat, one experiences suffering like falling into a thorn pit. When peeling off the back's vernix, one experiences suffering like being skinned alive. When cleaning the impurities, one experiences suffering like being whipped with a thorn iron whip. When being held in the mother's lap, one experiences suffering like a baby bird being carried away by a hawk. When applying butter to the crown of the head, one experiences suffering like being tied up and thrown into a pit, and so on. Then there is the suffering of aging. The All-Knowing Great One said: The suffering of aging is extremely difficult to endure. Youth is lost, and no one likes it. Unable to support the upper and lower body, relying on a cane, the body's warmth diminishes, and food is also difficult to digest. As it is said. The body's radiance diminishes, the hair on the head turns white, the body bends, and the limbs become crooked, the flesh dries up, the skin loosens, the face is filled with wrinkles, it is difficult to get out of bed, and one staggers when walking, and sways when sitting, and so on. There are countless sufferings. As Jetsun Milarepa said: Standing up like pulling out a peg, walking like approaching a bird, sitting like losing balance, when these three are gathered, old woman, do not be disheartened by the decaying illusory body. The wrinkles gathered by the outer skin, and so on.
