Each day, beings were guided in mind training, refuge, and bodhicitta, ensuring their minds were ripened with renunciation and the aspiration for enlightenment. From the outset, there was absolutely no practice of haphazardly guiding the main practices. Moreover, when Je Rinpoche himself bestowed the ripening instructions of the main practices, he did not allow more than five students to receive them together. The actual introduction was only ensured through individual instruction. Consequently, all of Je Rinpoche's direct disciples turned away from samsara from the depths of their hearts, dedicating their lives to solitary mountains, and ultimately perfecting their practice. In particular, they were not crushed by the darkness of changing times, but their lives and practice were equal, each surpassing the other. Thus, almost all manifested signs of attainment in this life, or did not lose their way even at the time of death. This must be a unique characteristic of Je Rinpoche's blessings and his way of nurturing disciples. Today, everyone is scattering flowers of praise with faith and devotion. Furthermore, this great being is renowned as an exemplar of skillful means in guiding those to be tamed. To those who were not involved in Dharma or had no interest in it, he would give small gifts or tell ancient stories and legends, gradually turning their minds towards Dharma through pleasant speech alone. Even to young children, he would give toys and sweets, skillfully attracting their attention without coercion. To great people and high lamas, or those with pride and arrogance, he would expose their faults and discipline them with harsh punishments. To the poor and vulnerable, he would provide favorable conditions for practicing Dharma, always caring for them with love. To rulers and local leaders, he would guide them to establish political happiness and prosperity without contradicting the laws of the country and Dharma. In short, he only engaged in activities that benefited others, without seeking to elevate himself, pursue fame, accumulate wealth through dishonest means, criticize and slander others out of jealousy, or suppress and enslave others out of fear of competition. He never prioritized his own interests while paying lip service to benefiting others, which are the eight worldly concerns.

Even with the slightest bias, he remained pure and untainted throughout his life, acting in accordance with the deeds of previous Buddhas, accomplishing the four means of gathering disciples, and attaining mastery over the spontaneously accomplished activities of the four karmas. Similarly, it is said that constantly engaging in debates in his presence and having him tell the stories of Gesar were skillful methods to avert the turmoil of the times. Always bestowing the great activity of benefiting others equally upon all beings to be tamed, the gods and all beings in the world unanimously proclaimed praises for his utterly wondrous and extraordinary deeds. His realization is equal to the sky, thus corresponding to the meaning of the name "Non-Attachment." Lama Rinchen Dargye, who observed fasting vows, once asked him, "You have many motley-colored female yaks outside, and inside you have many possessions, even firewood, so why are you called a Non-Attachment practitioner?" He replied, "You are mistaken. One who has no possessions is called a beggar. A Non-Attachment practitioner is one who has to be free from the attachment of grasping and the grasped in the inner wisdom of rigpa." Furthermore, he acknowledged himself as "Non-Attachment Khyentse Wangpo," that is, Non-Attachment in meaning. Similarly, this lord was very pleased with the inseparability of hearing, thinking, and meditating, and especially paid great attention to the writings of Jamgön Mipham Rinpoche. Previously, when he was residing in front of Adzom Rinpoche, it was when Jamgön Lama Mipham Rinpoche was still alive. Non-Attachment Rinpoche very much wanted to go there to meet him and receive teachings, so he asked the lama for permission, but Drukpa Rinpoche said, "Those things I have told you, you will surely accomplish the benefit of yourself and others, so practice those well." He did not allow him to go. It was also heard that, "Your previous incarnation, Do Lama Jikgal, was also very learned, and when he was invited to China, he was imprisoned because he was not skillful. Therefore, you also have great obstacles, so it is enough to study that much." He also did not allow him to go. In any case, although he did not personally meet Jamgön Lama, he was certainly later taken care of by the wisdom body. Because when he was engaged in doctrinal debates with Bodrul Rinpoche, he orally transmitted many of the essential points of Jamgön Lama's words, Mipham Rinpoche blessed him.
