On the day of the Red Direction Dakini Gathering Festival, the writing of this concise biography was commenced at that sacred place with a feast of the Tsok kyi Khorlo (Assembly Wheel). Then, gradually proceeding towards Serta, researching his teachings and biographies. Finally, at the seat of that Lord, and the place where he ultimately passed into peace, Seya Gang Retreat, it was completed on the auspicious date of the twenty-fifth of the following month. The following year, with additions and deletions at Mindrolling Shedra (Buddhist College) in U-Tsang (Central Tibet), it was completely written by Sheja Kunzig, the monastic figure of the degenerate age, who sees all knowledge. May this also become a cause for spontaneously accomplishing the two benefits of Dharma and beings! Auspicious! Auspicious! Auspicious! Sarva Mangalam! (Sanskrit, Sarva Mangalam, All auspiciousness!)
