Do not try to stop it, but let it relax naturally. Whatever thoughts arise, let them relax naturally, so that they will dissolve and subside on their own. Second, introducing (the nature of mind). There are eight aspects of introduction, the first is to introduce the self-nature of mind as luminosity: When one examines and analyzes one's own mind with one's own mind, it has no color, shape, and does not exist in any place, so it cannot be determined. However, merely clarity and awareness, existing as an experience of self-awareness, this is the luminosity of self-nature. Introducing in this way is the first aspect of introduction. Second, the introduction is: The various thoughts that arise in the mind, the previous moment disappears, and the next moment arises, arising and ceasing immediately, so defilements are temporary. Introducing in this way is the second aspect of introduction. Third, the introduction is: These various external appearances, and the various thoughts that arise in the mind, appear in a state of not being observed and analyzed, so one cannot say that they do not exist; but since they are not established in their respective states, one cannot say that they exist, transcending existence and non-existence. Similarly, this own mind cannot be found anywhere inside or outside, because it cannot be determined, so one cannot say that it exists; but since it exists as clarity and awareness, one cannot say that it does not exist, transcending existence and non-existence. All dharmas are not one, therefore transcending one. For example, the vase in front of you does not actually exist, and the large belly and collapsed bottom do not actually exist, so these two are not one. Therefore, the large belly cannot be a vase. The concept of a vase does not actually exist, and the concept of a pillar does not exist, it is merely a conceptual designation. Therefore, these two are also not different, so the vase cannot not be a pillar. Therefore, like existence and non-existence, is and is not, etc., are all free from all elaboration. Introducing in this way is the third aspect of introduction. Fourth, when experiencing happiness in body and mind during meditation, know that this is just the happiness of experience, not ultimate happiness, do not cling to it, and do not deny it. Similarly, sometimes experiencing emptiness, etc., know that this is not the emptiness of reality, but the experience of emptiness, do not cling to it. Similarly, sometimes experiencing clear awareness, clear realms, etc., know that this is just the clarity of experience, not the clarity of reality, do not cling to it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not fabricating and not negating whatever arises is recognizing without attachment to the essence of experience, which is the fourth way of introduction. The fifth is: Recognizing that this mind is not established anywhere and is free from all elaboration, that is the Dharmakaya (法身,chos sku,法身,dharmakāya,Dharmakaya, Dharma body); although it is not established, it appears in various ways, that is the Rupakaya (色身,gzugs kyi sku,色身,rūpakāya,Rupakaya, Form body). Therefore, recognizing that the nature of mind has existed in the nature of the two Kayas (身,sku,身,kāya,Kaya, Body) from the beginning is the fifth way of introduction. The sixth is: The nature of mind does not change in all stages of the ground, path, and result. For example, there is no difference between the mind of the previous moment and the mind of the next moment. Introducing the student in this way is the sixth way of introduction. The seventh is: There is no difference between the mind when conceptual thoughts arise and the mind when they do not arise. Similarly, when seeing objects and when not seeing them, when standing and when sitting, in short, whatever the body does, whatever the mouth says, whatever the mind thinks, the nature of mind is equanimity without attachment. Introducing in this way is the seventh way of introduction. The eighth is: When the mind abides, it abides naturally without fabrication; when the mind moves, if it moves, do not specifically negate it, just recognize the nature of the movement, and then abide naturally. In this way, eating, speaking, walking, sitting, whatever you do, abide naturally without fabrication. For example, just as when you go to a jewel island, you cannot find stones except for jewels, whatever the body's actions, the mouth's speech, the mind's thoughts, will all become pure meditation. Introducing in this way is the eighth way of introduction. The limbs of the path are clearing obstacles and enhancing merit, including clearing obstacles and enhancing merit. The first is clearing obstacles, including clearing dullness, clearing agitation, and clearing the obstacle of continuous conceptual thoughts. The first is: Visualize a white, radiant Bindu (明点,thig le,明點,bindu,Bindu, Drop) at your navel, then gradually move it upwards, and finally exit from the crown of your head, imagining it going higher and higher into the sky, looking upwards and focusing your attention. Then imagine it gradually descending, and finally reaching the navel. Doing this repeatedly will clear the obstacle of dullness. The second is: Visualize a black, radiant Bindu (明点,thig le,明點,bindu,Bindu, Drop) at your navel, and then imagine it extending out from the anus. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
