If, in meditative equipoise, one cultivates the non-conceptual state of non-discrimination, then during the breaks between sessions, such as walking, sitting, lying down, etc., one should place an object of mindfulness, whatever is appropriate. By repeatedly seeing this object, one is stimulated to repeatedly remember the non-conceptual state and cultivate it, which will also enhance meditative equipoise. Furthermore, if in meditative equipoise one cultivates a yoga with concepts, such as tummo (Tibetan: གཏུམ་མོ།), (Sanskrit Devanagari: चण्डाली, Sanskrit Romanization: caṇḍālī, Literal meaning: Fierce Woman), then during the breaks between sessions, for example, while eating, one should cultivate the tummo (Tibetan: གཏུམ་མོ།), (Sanskrit Devanagari: चण्डाली, Sanskrit Romanization: caṇḍālī, Literal meaning: Fierce Woman) Aṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) syllable in the center of the food; or while speaking, one should cultivate the tummo (Tibetan: གཏུམ་མོ།), (Sanskrit Devanagari: चण्डाली, Sanskrit Romanization: caṇḍālī, Literal meaning: Fierce Woman) Aṃ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Literal meaning: Seed syllable) syllable in the mouth. By practicing these, one will also enhance one's practice. Moreover, visualize a guru or yidam (Tibetan: ཡི་དམ།, meaning: personal deity), whichever one prefers, residing far away in the sky. Imagine oneself climbing up like a tree, and when one reaches the same level as the guru or yidam, think, 'All of this is just a manifestation of my own mind; there is not even a little bit of true existence.' Release this attachment, and decisively settle oneself, the guru or yidam, and all appearances into emptiness. Remain in equipoise for a while without any mental fabrication. Then, rise again and visualize the guru or yidam residing even higher in the sky. Imagine oneself climbing up like the rays of the sun and moon, or a tree, or whatever, and when one reaches the same level as the guru or yidam, remain in equipoise in emptiness as before. By doing this endlessly, one will enhance all samadhis (Tibetan: ཏིང་ངེ་འཛིན།, Sanskrit: samādhi, meaning: concentration), and virtues will increase. Here it is said: Brahma (Tibetan: ཚངས།, Sanskrit: Brahmā, meaning: Brahma) and other proud gods bow down, their light encircling all directions; fully composed of compassion, possessing unfailing marks and signs; becoming the friend of limitless beings, bestowing the nectar of benefit and happiness; the glorious Great Bliss Vajra (Tibetan: བདེ་ཆེན་རྡོ་རྗེ།), like the moon rising on the eastern mountain of the sacred land (Tibetan: འཕགས་ཡུལ།, Sanskrit: Āryadeśa, meaning: Holy Land). By relying on him, one attains supreme accomplishment and increases bliss; he creates countless wonderful paths of benefit and happiness; uniting these into one Vajrayana (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེའི་ཐེག་པ།, Sanskrit: Vajrayāna, meaning: Diamond Vehicle), he creates a feast of supreme two-stage yoga. This lord of the family, Vajradhara (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་འཆང་།, Sanskrit: Vajradhara, meaning: Diamond Holder), appears as a virtuous friend, named Kunga (Tibetan: ཀུན་དགའ།, meaning: All Joy). This supreme guide, in this land of snow mountains (Tibetan: གངས་རི།), bestows the nectar of unprecedented, new, and excellent teachings. This is more essential than the essence of the eighty-four thousand teachings. May I, through the merit gained from writing this, attain the united Vajra body (Tibetan: ཟུང་འཇུག་རྡོ་རྗེའི་སྐུ།). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This was written down by the Shakya monk Yeshe Gyatso, according to the words of the venerable Vajradhara Kunga Nyingpo, the essence of all victorious ones. May there be auspiciousness! May there be virtue! The lineage of this is: Zurminwa Tsewang Kunkhyab, Ngonjang Dorje Thar, Lama Drimed, Lhatse Gyaltsen, Ngawang Samten. Up to Zurmin, it is necessary to understand from his listening records. Although I have never seen the Six Yogas instruction manual, if I do not know it, is it the same as the time of the wrathful ten deities secret assembly body mandala at the ten major points, or the preliminary practices of the Six Realms Kalachakra? This is the word of Ngawang Tsoknyi Gyatso. Checked and corrected, may there be auspiciousness! The original text is the 'tsham thang' manuscript of the collected works of Taranatha. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
