Next is the supreme guidance: Maintain a proper body posture and expel impure air. After that, exhale slowly. At the end of the exhalation, pause slightly. Exhale again, pause slightly. Exhale again. Then, inhale slowly. At the end of the inhalation, also pause slightly and continue inhaling. After completing that, pause slightly again and inhale. Then, forcefully press the upper air downwards. Pull the lower air upwards from the back, bend the neck slightly, and hold as long as possible. When unable to hold, the method of exhaling is: divide one exhalation into three segments, exhaling as described above. When inhaling, also divide one inhalation into three segments. Repeatedly practice the inner retention, etc. The focus of the mind: When exhaling, visualize the air inside the body dissipating like smoke. When inhaling, visualize the air entering as five-colored rays of light, filled with joy. When holding the breath, keep the mind free from distractions. Second, the fundamental guidance: Maintain a proper body posture and expel a large amount of impure air. After that, inhale the air. Press the upper air towards the navel. Forcefully pull the lower air upwards, bringing the two airs together. While pressing down on the upper air, bend the neck backwards and forcefully pull upwards. At the same time, without relaxing the contraction of the lower air on the anus, forcefully press the point where the two airs meet towards the lower abdomen. Repeat this about three times, then exhale the air. For the first seven days or so, with each breath, pull and press the point where the two airs meet up and down about three times. Then gradually increase the number of times. Third, the guidance of the branches: Maintain a proper body posture and expel a large amount of impure air. After that, exhale all the air completely and hold the breath as long as possible. Press the abdomen tightly against the spine, forcefully pull the lower air upwards, and at the same time pull the strength of the abdomen upwards about three times. While holding the breath, relax and contract the anus, and press the air in the abdomen downwards. When discomfort arises, and the method of inhaling, all should be practiced repeatedly. For this method, the air in the abdomen is pulled upwards and pressed downwards, initially about three times, and then gradually increase the number of times. Fourth, the revolving air practice: Adopt the dog stretching posture. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Posture Method: Legs With the mind at ease, grasp the body just above the navel with both hands, and sit with a bent posture. Alternatively, like an elephant's sitting posture, kneel with both knees, clench both hands into fists, place them on the ground in front, and bend the upper body. Whichever of these two postures is adopted, exhale the air and hold it as long as possible. While in that state, rotate the force of the empty abdomen to the right and then to the left. Then inhale, and rotate the held breath to the right and to the left. The point is to hold the breath longer when rotating outwards and shorter when rotating inwards. Fifth, the Six Transformations: Squat with the legs crossed like eyes. Clench the hands into fists, cross them, and place them under the armpits. Tighten the four buttocks muscles. Look upwards, press the tongue against the palate, tighten the throat, and simultaneously contract the anus. Exhale air with the sound of 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). Tighten the abdomen, hold the breath until discomfort arises. Then inhale, tilt the head back, and hold the breath as before. Visualization: Visualize a seed syllable or bindu, such as 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) or 'Aṃ' (Tibetan: ཨཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अं, Sanskrit Romanization: aṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Aṃ), or any symbolic object at the navel. Contract the anus and exhale air with the sound of 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ). Visualize it rising upwards and exiting from the crown of the head. Sixth, the practice of 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) itself: Extend both legs and hands, exhale air with twenty-one sounds of 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ), empty the abdomen, hold the breath slightly, tighten the abdomen, and repeatedly contract the anus upwards. Then inhale, grasp the feet with both hands, and stretch upwards. Seventh, Spontaneous Cessation: Without exhaling, etc., completely cut off the flow of air, press the force of the abdomen downwards, and relax the anus as much as possible. Eighth: Exhale, inhale the upper air and press down, and relax the anus. Ninth: Exhale and inhale, contract the anus upwards, and press down the force of the upper air into the secret place like a pounding, about three or four times, five or six times, causing the body to tremble. These three smaller subsequent pranayama postures involve rocking from the root of the secret place with one heel and pressing down on the upper part of the secret place with the other heel. Tenth: Exhale. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
