For showing the path, the Tathagata has no fear, because he is not deceived by others; for the benefit of himself and others, the Tathagata's wisdom, as well as the actions of the Buddha's body, speech, and mind, are not concealed for fear of others knowing their imperfections. In the Sangha, even the slightest details are told truthfully, and these are the three things that need not be concealed. Regarding listening to the Dharma, there are three kinds of listeners: respectful, disrespectful, and neutral. For these three kinds of listeners, the Tathagata treats them with attachment, anger, and neutral distraction respectively. In order not to forget these, the Tathagata maintains three kinds of equanimous mindfulness. The Tathagata does not have forgetfulness that needs to be concealed. Because the benefit of beings is not delayed by forgetfulness, the Tathagata's actions are always fruitful, and this is the nature of non-forgetfulness. Regarding the actions of all beings, the Tathagata, in walking, dwelling, sitting, and lying down, never has actions that are not all-knowing, because he has completely destroyed the habitual tendencies. O all-knowing one, you observe all beings in the world, whether flourishing or declining, three times a day and three times at night, and this is great compassion for beings. For all beings in the world, day and night, there are six unshared actions, six unshared realizations, three unshared wisdoms, and three unshared activities. These eighteen are the eighteen unshared qualities that only the Buddha possesses. Through actions and realizations, and attaining the great Bodhi of the three bodies, in order to cut off the doubts of all beings, one attains all-knowingness. The great Bodhi of the three bodies is the ultimate, luminous wisdom, which is the collection of Dharmas, called the Dharmakaya. The one hundred and forty-one uncontaminated Dharmas are considered to be the Dharmas gathered by nature. Third, non-affliction refers to the non-affliction of the Shravakas, which is merely abandoning the faults that give rise to afflictions, and not doing anything to counteract the afflictions. For many trainable beings such as humans, completely abandoning their afflictions. In cities and other places, for other beings, whether their afflictions have arisen, will arise, or are continuous, the Tathagata can use supernatural powers and Samadhi to subdue them, and this is the non-affliction like a king. For all beings, universally wishing and understanding means wishing to understand any knowable encompassed by the two truths, and fulfilling this wish, because the power of the wish comes first, so one can understand the wish. The wisdom produced by the Buddha's wish is naturally accomplished. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Having overcome disease, Having abandoned attachment, being unobstructed in knowledge, constantly abiding in meditative equipoise, Being able to answer limitless doubts in a single instant. It is considered that one is distinguished by these five qualities. Spontaneously accomplished and without attachment. Fourth question: If the Buddha constantly and universally abides without forgetting the welfare of sentient beings, why do all sentient beings not see him? It is when the cause for seeing the Buddha, such as faith and other virtues, has fully matured, that the activities of the body and so forth appear. The Buddha appears in the world at the time when the manner of taming and the action of taming benefit the being to be tamed, according to whatever is to be tamed, in whatever manner, at whatever time. And the various forms of the body and speech appear to that being to be tamed. If the Buddha appears in the world, does he place all sentient beings on the path? It is not so. For example, although the king of gods sends down rain without partiality, desirable fruits do not grow for things that are like seeds burned by fire and are not suitable as seeds. Likewise, although the Buddhas appear in the world and send down the rain of the nectar of the sacred Dharma without expectation, those without a share of Dharma do not experience the goodness of the nectar of the teachings. As Maitreya said, 'How can a broken vessel hold water?' and so forth. Although the Buddha does not appear to those without merit, as shown above, the activity of the Buddha pervades all places and times. The Buddha, whose body, speech, and mind activities are as vast as the sky, is enlightenment itself, and enlightenment is equal to the sky. Enlightenment is like the realm of the sky. It must be stated definitively that the Buddha's sky is pervasive. The Buddha himself is the primordial nature, and because his activity never ceases, that Thus-Gone One nature is also said to be eternal. By showing respect to stupas and so forth, one is endowed with hands and feet marked with wheels of a thousand spokes, which is a sign of having a very large retinue. By relying on a yidam, one's feet are like a tortoise, which is a sign of being immovable and stable. The phrase 'sign' should be applied to all of the above. By practicing the four means of gathering, the fingers and toes are connected by webs like the king of geese, which is a sign of quickly gathering a retinue. By giving delicious and pleasant food and drink, the hands and feet are soft.
