Examine each of their own nature. When examining whether the body and mind, and the three sufferings of the object of attachment, sentient beings, are truly established from their own side, when examining in detail, one realizes the truth that there is no true establishment, and there is no object of attachment. Separated from the mind of attachment, great non-thought arises. Similarly, for hatred, examine the body, mind, and three sufferings. Examine the body, mind, and three sufferings of oneself. As before, great non-thought arises. Since the two, attachment and hatred, dissolve on their own and become one in the realm of the great emptiness of Dharma, it is called great equanimity, free from the two, attachment and hatred. Knowing the meaning of this, and abiding in it, is called immeasurable equanimity. Therefore, one must cultivate the four immeasurables well, with aspiration in mind, enter with the mind, and finally become proficient. The fourth is equanimity: In this way, through the door of love, compassion, and joy, with the mind of benefiting sentient beings, with great love, the mind of attachment to sentient beings. If there is no partiality or discrimination, it is the Mahayana Bodhicitta. However, the loving-kindness with attachment, because its own nature is emptiness, has no attachment to emptiness. Not being attached to the nature, not being attached, not making attachment, whatever arises in the mind, it is placed on the nature of emptiness without wavering. The mind of benefiting others, the sharp thought of attachment to sentient beings disappears, and it goes into the nature of Dharma, which is called equanimity. The great burden of liberating all sentient beings from the suffering of samsara falls on me alone, this is called higher intention. The mind of bestowing great benefit on all sentient beings, this mind exists in ordinary beings with attachment and hatred towards sentient beings. Therefore, the object of attachment and hatred is sentient beings, the nature of the attacher and hater, and the nature of attachment and hatred, examine each of their own nature.

Kya. If one examines the three sufferings of one's own body, speech, and mind, a great non-conceptuality arises as before. The two, attachment and hatred, are naturally liberated in their own place, and become one taste in the realm of the great emptiness of dharmata. Therefore, it is called great equanimity free from the two, attachment and hatred. To understand these meanings and abide in them is called immeasurable equanimity. Therefore, one should train well in these four immeasurables, aspire with the mind, engage the mind, and finally achieve perfection. Thus it is said. Thus, if we divide the four immeasurables, there is nothing more than what has been said above. For example, in the case of compassion, it is generally directed towards sentient beings tormented by suffering, wishing them to be free from these sufferings, and thinking how wonderful it would be if they were free. This is compassion directed towards sentient beings, which is initially cultivated by ordinary individuals. It is directed towards sentient beings tormented by suffering, distinguished by impermanence and momentariness, etc., wishing that sentient beings with these particular characteristics be free from all suffering, and thinking how wonderful it would be if they were free. This is compassion directed towards the Dharma, which is cultivated by all noble beings. It is directed towards sentient beings tormented by suffering, distinguished by the emptiness of self and other, wishing that sentient beings with these particular characteristics be free from all suffering. This is compassion without object, which should be known as the field of activity of Bodhisattvas and Buddhas who have abandoned the clinging to the reality of grasper and grasped. However, for beginners, if they cultivate it on the grounds that the nature of the mind is not established, they will think that the corresponding accumulation of conditions is complete. As mentioned above, all beings in the six realms of samsara, including gods and demons, are parents, brothers, and sisters of many lifetimes.
