There are three aspects to not abandoning the Three Jewels: Even if one's eyes are gouged out, limbs are severed, etc., one does not abandon the Three Jewels. Even if one is killed by an executioner for the sake of one's life, one does not abandon the Three Jewels. Even if one is told that one will be given a reward of the world filled with precious jewels, one does not abandon the Three Jewels. Thirdly, no matter what happiness or suffering befalls oneself, one should not do anything other than worshiping and praying to the Three Jewels. Even if it doesn't help, one should not have even a moment of wrong view, as it is the exhaustion of past bad karma. Fourthly, wherever one goes, one should take refuge in the Three Jewels and the Buddhas of that direction. Fifthly, from the moment of taking refuge onwards, all hopes, refuges, and dependencies should be placed in the Three Jewels. The supports of the Three Jewels, such as images of Buddhas, stupas, scriptures, even a single letter, and even the seats of the Sangha, should be regarded with devotion as the Dharmakaya and should be offered to. As Ma gcig said: 'Children, do not be separated from any image of the Buddha, especially the image of the incomparable Shakyamuni Buddha, and offer the five offerings, and perform the seven-limbed prayer and circumambulation seven times each day without fail.' If you do not do so, the Three Jewels will not protect you, and like a blind person without a guide, or a boatman without oars, you will not be able to liberate yourself from samsara, and the fault will be great, and you will also be in conflict with me and become a cause for falling into the lower realms, so it is important to accept it diligently. In general, any support of the Buddha's body that is close to being destroyed should be repaired. Even if the conditions are not met, wipe away the dust and place it in a high place. Even if it is a fragment of the body that cannot be repaired, do not step on it, but place it in a high place. Even if you see a single letter of scripture, take it to the crown of your head and place it in a high place. Even a fragment of the Sangha's robes, and even a piece of red and yellow cloth, do not step on it, but place it in a high place. It is essential to keep your mind inseparable from the Three Jewels at all times, day and night, so do so. If you do not do so, the Three Jewels will not protect you, and like a blind person without a guide, or a boatman without oars, you will not be able to liberate yourself from samsara, and the fault will be great, and you will also be in conflict with me and become a cause for falling into the lower realms, so it is important to accept it diligently.

Lache. In general, any representation of the Buddha's body that is close to being destroyed should be repaired. Even if the conditions are not met, wipe away the dust and place it in a high place. For those that cannot be repaired, Even a fragment of the body should not be discarded, but placed in a high place. Even if you see a single letter of the speech, take it to the crown of your head and place it in a high place. A piece of the Sangha's robes, and also Even a part of a red and yellow cloth should not be discarded, but placed in a high place. It is essential to keep the Three Jewels in mind day and night, so do so. Worldly deities and their representations that are incompatible with the teachings of the Great Sage, should not be worshiped, prostrated to, believed in, or even have a slight inclination towards. One should not intentionally touch these deities' representations with one's limbs without necessity, nor even look at them, it is said. There are also eight precepts for taking refuge internally: First, one should not have even a trace of ill will or slander towards the lama. Second, one should meditate on the deity's form and strive in the generation and completion stages. Third, one should strive in the timely offerings and fire pujas to the dakinis. Fourth, after blessing the food as nectar, visualize the lama on the crown of the head and make offerings, think of the deity in the heart and make offerings, and think of the dakini in the navel and make offerings. Fifth, wherever you go, pray to the lama, deity, and dakini before going. Visualize the lama on the crown of the head, yourself as the deity, and the dakini and Dharma protectors as companions and go. Sixth, one should not abandon the lama, deity, and dakini, even for the sake of body and life. Rely on the lama like the heart, protect the deity like the eyes, and like the body think of the dakini and learn. Seventh, whatever happens, sickness, hardship, happiness, or sorrow, pray to the lama, offer to the deity, and give torma offerings to the dakini, but do not engage in divination, astrology, Bon rituals, etc., and do not seek other methods. Eighth, always remember the qualities of the lama, deity, and dakini, and always take refuge. By taking refuge in the lama in this way, one attains the body of Mahamudra; by taking refuge in the deity, accomplishments arise; by taking refuge in the dakini, obstacles are cleared and the four activities are accomplished. Second, the benefits are twofold: common and special benefits. Worldly deities and their representations that are incompatible with the teachings of the Great Sage, should not be worshiped.
