Saying the sound "PHAṬ (Tibetan, Devanagari script, phaṭ, to shatter)" three times, and blowing the leg bone horn three times, one should gather the gods and demons. As it is said, gathering the gods and demons, whether it is to eliminate obstacles of fierce places, or one's own dwelling, patrons, etc., in any case, if a sign of Chöd appears, one should practice it as it is said in the respective Chöd texts. For daily practice, my lama said that it is only necessary to think that the assembly appears in front in an instant in a peaceful way, and it also appears in the Chöd texts. Second, clarifying the refuge field. From the Profound Meaning Heart Essence, starting from "each of their own," to "Machek Labdrön resides in the form of the Great Mother, surrounded by lineage lamas, the Three Jewels, the Three Roots, etc." It is only "thinking of residing." But here, according to the commentary, and the root of the Tsokle of Je Rangjung Chenpo, Ratna Simha corresponding to it, the extensive Tsokle of Chakme (stainless light), and the consistent views of my two lamas, it has been clarified that there is no difference between the Profound Meaning and the Tsokle. However, if one wants to do it as it is said in the respective traditions of pure vision and treasure teachings, it is completely acceptable. In general, there is no difference between the Profound Meaning and the Tsokle, except for the way of transmission, which is also clearly stated in the Chöd texts of the Fifth Zhwa-dmar. Similarly, clarifying the refuge field is mainly the Great Mother, Machek, Vajravarahi, Vajradhara, Shakyamuni, Orgyen Rinpoche, Je Dagnid Chenpo, etc., according to the respective traditions arising from pure vision and treasure teachings, there is no need to prove that one's own tradition is reasonable, or to exclude the uniqueness of other traditions. As long as one understands the meaning of view, meditation, and conduct, all the Buddhas of the past, present, and future have no difference in realization, and no distance in compassion. Therefore, meditating on the main deity that one believes in is the explanation of each text, so there is no contradiction, and everything is gathered here. For example, if one lights a hundred thousand lamps, the nature of the lamps appears separately, but all the lights are not separate, but merge into one. The body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas are the inconceivable secrets of the inexhaustible wheel of adornment, without size and edge, therefore it is pure.

There is no need to be stingy with smallness, and one should immerse oneself in the inconceivable realm of Dharmata. Secondly, visualizing the refuge field: Starting from "each of their own" in the Profound Meaning Heart Essence, visualize Machig Labdrön, the Great Mother, abiding with the lineage lamas, the Three Jewels, etc., surrounding her. Although it is only "abiding and visualizing," here there is commentary, as well as the root of the Tsokle (gathering) ritual of Je Rangjung Chenpo, Ratna Simha in accordance with it, the extensive ritual of Chagmey (stainless light), and the intention of the commentary agreed upon by my two lamas, etc. It is shown that there is no difference between the Profound Meaning and the Tsokle ritual. However, if one wants to explain according to the respective traditions of pure vision and terma, then it is actually pure. In general, there is no difference between the Profound Meaning and the Tsokle ritual except for the way of transmission, which is also clarified in the Chö texts of the Fifth Zhwa-dmar. Similarly, visualizing the refuge field also mainly involves the Great Mother, Machig, Vajravarahi, Vajradhara, Thubpa'i Wangpo, Orgyen Rinpoche, Je Daknyi Chenpo, etc., which arise from pure vision and terma, etc., and are practiced according to their respective traditions. There is no need to prove that one's own tradition is reasonable, nor is it necessary to reject the uniqueness of other traditions. As long as one understands the meaning of view, meditation, and conduct, all the Buddhas of the three times have no difference in realization, and no distance in compassion. Therefore, contemplating whatever main deity one prefers is the explanation of each scripture, so there is no contradiction, and everything is gathered there. For example, if one lights a hundred thousand lamps, the essence of the lamps appears separately, but all the light is not separate, but merges into one. The inexhaustible body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas, the inconceivable secret of the wheel of ornaments, have no size or center, so there is no need to be stingy with smallness, and one should immerse oneself in the inconceivable realm of Dharmata. Among them, visualizing the refuge field, characteristics, generating conviction, making vows, and remembering the benefits of learning are four points. The first point is what Machig said: In front of one's forehead, one arrow-length away, in a place one body-height higher, on a jeweled throne supported by eight lions, etc., up to the ocean of oath-bound protectors.
