Twentieth (chapter). Four vows, four samayas, four maras, four places of straying, and four places of liberation, know the general outline of four fives are twenty. Among them, first is the explanation of vows: The vow to generate aversion to the cycle of the three realms, the vow of mindfulness not to be distracted from the meaning of reality, the vow to abandon illness, illusion, and fear, and the vow not to surrender body and mind to enjoyment, these are the four. Secondly, the four samaya vows are for beings, the vow to practice the four immeasurables, the vow to observe fasting for seven days each month, the vow to never beat ghosts, and the four vows not to hold fierce mantras and evil objects. Again, the four maras are those with attachment, without attachment, and the four that generate joy and pride, the first is to cut off attachment to all forms, sounds, smells, etc., sons and enemies, wealth, possessions, and enjoyments. Secondly, cut off all good and bad thoughts of oneself, and the affirmation and negation of arising feelings and perceptions. Thirdly, attachment and clinging to experiences, realizations, samadhi, and yidam deities, all are maras. Fourth, the arising of three kinds of arrogance is included in the maras. For all the hopes and doubts that arise in the mind, remember the meaning of the three recognitions and cut them off. Cut off the arrogance in the mind, otherwise it will become an obstacle for other maras. Therefore, it is extremely important to cut off arrogance. Fourth, the four places of straying are explained: This cutting falls into ordinariness, falls into scattered confusion, falls into witchcraft and ghost drinking, these are the four. First, not understanding reality, speaking eloquently, claiming to be the instructions of a dakini, speaking empty words, not doing virtuous deeds, abiding in ordinariness. Secondly, claiming to practice cutting, going to a solitary place, enjoying meat, alcohol, and women. Thirdly, this cutting in the experience of luminosity, produces slight appearances, and boasts of having clairvoyance, performs divination, claiming that it is the harm of gods and ghosts, and that these interdependent connections are needed. Fourth, doing asceticism in dangerous places and mountain retreats, after some blessing has entered the continuum, then claiming to benefit others, performing blessings, mantra protection, and village rituals, subduing ghosts, suppressing, burning, and throwing the three things, as well as fierce mantras, poisons, protection, hanging, corpse dissection, enjoying human flesh and blood, and creating evil deeds. At that time, a little benefit arises and the mind becomes biased, both self and others are destroyed together, these are the four. Fifth, the place of liberation is like the external sunlight, without distinction of near and far for beings.

Greed and hatred are liberated. Inwardly, grasping and fixation are liberated like a fog. Secret, impartial liberation is like the sun and moon. Most secret, like space, essence is liberated in its own place. The seventh chapter of the twenty key points is complete. The essential points of self-liberation are spoken by the Mother: The essence of the self-liberated, pure Mother, From the dharma of dualistic mind, liberation arises, Cutting what is to be cut, the cutter, with pure determination. Samsara and nirvana are non-dual, pure in one's own mind, In the mind, there is no duality of pure and impure. For oneself, there is no knowing and not knowing. Without object to be realized and realizing subject, make a firm decision. If it is oneself, then one should meditate most deeply on oneself. What comes from meditating, what is the fault of not meditating? Cut the rope of alternating, reversing meditation and grasping. However it is cut, wisdom cuts wisdom. For oneself, one's own essence is beyond thought and expression. The duality of object and subject is cut from the root. The three, ground, path, and result, are merely imputed by one's own mind. Sentient beings imputed by mind do not transcend mind. That which is the nature of dharma without bondage, liberation, acceptance, or rejection, Is primordially oneself, there is no such thing as oneself. On that very nature without grasping or fixation, Whatever accepting or rejecting arises, that itself is a demon. Do not follow external objects, cut the rope of pride. Grasping "I" as a demon, grasping as "mine" is great. If one knows as "I", one is liberated from grasping as "I". If that itself is liberated, whose demon is it? There is not even the name of what is to be cut and the cutter. The one who is proud is the demon of the one who is proud. If one knows the one who is proud, pride cannot harm. Since all my demons are decisively pride, Mere appearance of pride is like water in a mirage. A person born of a barren woman cannot harm self and others. The appearance of two moons is free from the fault of the eye. Do not abandon space, know that clouds themselves are space. The concepts of hope and doubt are liberated in their own place. Since everything is self-appearance, self-liberation, How can there be fear of oneself by oneself? If there is fear, it is cutting off one's own head. How can there be clean and unclean of oneself by oneself? If there is, have you abandoned intestines and brain? How can there be acceptance and rejection of oneself by oneself? If there is, what is to be accepted, what is to be rejected? Therefore, since holding dear is itself a demon, Do not hold anything dear, all yogis. If holding dear arises, there is no what is to be cut and cutter. Whatever is the supreme path of liberation is the supreme accomplishment. The demon to be abandoned is the deity to be accomplished and
