It is said from the Prajñāpāramitā. All the accomplished ones, such as Ama Jomo, also relied on this path to generate realization and give birth to merits. In the conventional truth, this body composed of the four elements has not transcended birth and death. Therefore, at the time of death, even if guarded by a thousand men with weapons, it cannot be stopped. But in the ultimate truth, even if surrounded by billions of demon armies, it cannot create obstacles and harm. This impure body, the king of pus and blood, the lump of yellow water, the trunk of snot, what is it for? If you, ghost, need it, take it now! In general, it is offered as a ransom for all six realms of beings, especially for you, the god and ghost, so think that there is not even a sesame seed's worth of attachment to this body, and then go in a state of mindlessness and non-attachment. After arriving, the practice is: in view, determine emptiness; in meditation, rest in a state of unconsciousness; in conduct, treat all happiness and suffering equally. Among them, the first is the view, which is to observe emptiness. The observer is this unreal mind of awareness, and the object of observation is to not be attached to anything at all. Do not generate attachment to anything in the mind, and rest both the seer and the seen in the empty realm of reality. In this state, no matter what arises, such as gods, ghosts, obstacles, cruelty, or arrogance, do not regard them as harmful ghosts, do not be attached, and do not meditate. Do not look at beneficial Dharma and instructions, protecting deities and lamas, etc., but rest in the state of unborn emptiness, unreality, and nothing accomplished. The second is meditation, resting in a state of unconsciousness. No matter what miracles occur, do not be attached to them as ghosts, and do not generate thoughts of fear. No matter what unfavorable things occur, such as adverse conditions and obstacles, do not think about them afterwards. The third is the great generosity of body and life. When going to practice Chöd, do not generate thoughts of illness, obstacles, suffering, fear, etc. beforehand. This Chöd is the teaching of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, and it is said from the Prajñāpāramitā. All the accomplished ones, such as Ama Jomo, also relied on this path to generate realization and give birth to merits. In the conventional truth, this body composed of the four elements has not transcended birth and death. Therefore, at the time of death, even if

Even if protected by a thousand men with obstacles, it is impossible. For the truly meaningful, even if surrounded by billions of demon armies, they cannot create obstacles or harm. What use is this impure body, king of pus and blood, heap of serum, tree of grease? If you, demon, need it, take it now! Generally, dedicate it as a ransom for all six realms of beings. Especially, since it is given for the sake of you, gods and demons, think that there is not even a sesame seed's worth of attachment to this body. Repeatedly enter a state of no-mind and no attachment. Having arrived, the practice is: settle the view as emptiness, rest meditation in a state of no-thought, and maintain equanimity towards all joys and sorrows in conduct. Among these three, first, the so-called view is to observe the realm as emptiness. Observe with the knowing, unreal mind. For the object of observation, generally do not cling to anything, and do not cling to anything in the mind, but settle the realm and the object in the expanse of emptiness. In this state, no matter what arises, such as gods, demons, obstacles, ferocity, arrogance, etc., do not regard them as harmful demons, do not cling to them, and do not meditate on them. Do not look to beneficial Dharma and key instructions, and do not look to saving deities and lamas, but settle in a state of unborn emptiness, unreality, and nothing accomplished. Second, meditation is to rest in a state of no-thought. No matter what miracles occur, do not cling to them as demons, and do not generate thoughts of fear. No matter what unfavorable things occur, such as adverse conditions and obstacles, do not pursue them, do not change, do not recall, do not think, but let them be forgotten, and rest in a state of self-extinguishing and self-liberation. If doing so does not help, trace its root and rest in the ultimate state of no self-nature. Third, in conduct, maintain equanimity towards joy and sorrow. If fearful and terrible things occur, or if you feel afraid and frightened, then contemplate fear a hundred times greater than before, and then stare at the essence of fear and what is feared. Ask where it comes from, where it dwells, and what it looks like. Trace the root in this way, and if you cannot find it, rest in that state, and fear will naturally be liberated. The key to the fifth practice is: first, when going to Chöd, go with a state of experience, knowing that the outer Chöd place is empty, realizing that the inner Chöd practitioner is empty, and understanding that the intermediate Chöd method is unreal, and
