Because it is the fruit of (past actions), do not regard it as an obstacle. Some people see it as an obstacle and hindrance and try to avoid it, but this is simply a lack of understanding of the Dharma. Third, the fruit of one's own past actions cannot be prevented by anyone, because it is what one has created. It is unreasonable to blame others and find fault. For example, when the face appears in a mirror, no matter how good or bad it looks, one cannot blame the mirror, because it is the merits and demerits of one's own face that are reflected. Similarly, whatever happiness or suffering one experiences is the result of past actions, so one should abandon them at the time of the cause, and not regard them as enemies at the time of the fruit, nor regard them as faults, nor regard them as obstacles, but transform them into the path, cultivate patience, and regard them as joy. Third, if one understands this, then all the faults on the path will appear as virtues, all the obstacles will appear as glory, all the demons will be transformed into gods, and all the obstacles and hindrances will become accomplishments. This is the reason to rejoice in those adverse conditions of the past. As Machig Labdrön said: "Although there is no whiteness in butter, recognizing butter will produce whiteness. Similarly, once you recognize butter, you don't need to seek whiteness separately. Similarly, once you recognize your own mind, you don't need to seek Buddhahood separately." In addition, unfavorable factors to be avoided include: bad annual omens, lunar eclipses, solar eclipses, inauspicious days, inauspicious directions, the five kinds of ghosts, demon cutting, corpses, the four executioners, the seven stars, the nine eyes, the grave eyes, bad omens, bad astrology, bad dreams, etc. Others will perform tormas and Bon rituals, etc., but all of these are false, mistaken, and conceptual. According to the principles of this Dharma: Subdue fierce spirits on top of fierce spirits, subdue demons on top of demons, transform them into the path, go to any place of fear, release them into any place of suffering, so that it itself becomes the antidote for protection. For example, just as when someone is bitten by a mad dog, the dog's teeth are used as medicine. As the Profound Meaning says: Diseases, corpses, ghosts, defilements, the eight worldly dharmas, attachment, aversion, etc., all kinds of disharmony in the world are regarded as demons to be cut off. The chapter says: When afflictions and conceptual thoughts arise, when experiencing attachment, aversion, happiness, and suffering, that itself is the demon, transform it into the path, and at that time, use the antidote of cutting...

said. The third is, if you understand it that way, then all the faults of the path will appear as virtues, all the thorns will appear as splendor, all the demons will turn into gods, and all obstacles and hindrances will become accomplishments. That is why one should be happy to look at those previous adverse conditions. As Machig (མ་གཅིག་) said: Even if white does not appear in butter, recognizing butter will make white appear. Once you recognize butter, you don't need to achieve white separately. Similarly, once you recognize your own mind, you don't need to achieve Buddhahood separately. In addition, the unfavorable factors that should be abandoned are: unfavorable annual astrology, unfavorable monthly astrology, unfavorable daily astrology, inauspicious stars, unfavorable directions, five ghosts, demon possession, corpse removal, the four executioners, seven killings, nine eyes, grave eyes, bad omens and calculations, bad dreams, etc. When these occur, others will make tormas and Bon rituals, etc., but all of those are worldly illusory conceptualizations. According to the rules of this Dharma: On top of the fierce ghost, descend the fierce ghost, on top of the demon, descend the demon, take it to the path, go to any place of fear, let go to any place of dread, because that itself is the antidote for protection. For example, just like using the tooth of a dog that has been bitten by a dog as medicine. The 《Profound Meaning》 says: Diseases and corpses, defilements and the eight worldly dharmas, greed and hatred, etc., cut off all kinds of unfavorable things in the world. The 《Branch》 says: When afflictions and conceptual thoughts arise, and when experiencing attachment, aversion, pleasure, and pain, that itself is a demon, let it enter the path. At that time, grasp it with the antidote of cutting. said. These should be practiced not only in fierce places, but also regularly. In this way, no matter whether happiness or suffering results, it is because of the unfailing karma of good and evil, and the gods and demons of karma. The way to bring it to the path is: The best person, because the mind is unborn, and neither good nor evil is established, therefore the result is neither happiness nor suffering. Decide in the vast expanse of mind itself, and place it without hope, fear, acceptance, or rejection. The medium person examines its nature. The lowest person analyzes and knows how to bring it to the path. No matter what you do, there will be no end to it, and if you are deceived and return again, then explain the order of suppressing the return. That has three: the cause of the return, the signs, and the suppression of the return. The first has three: deceit arising in the mind.
