Even a particle of true existence is absent. Like the sixteen examples of sound, it is clearly stated in all the Buddha's words, the Tripitaka of Sutras and Tantras. It is accomplished by oral instructions, and also experienced through reason. Whether or not it can be realized, whether or not it can be understood, from the very beginning it is emptiness and non-existence, and in the state of self-awareness and non-birth, it is completely decided. Secondly, this consciousness that holds onto purity and impurity within, in the unexamined appearance, there is only disgust and fear. But if examined and analyzed, it is found to be made by discrimination. Therefore, there is not even a particle of substance and truth in it. Then, who is the maker of disgust and what is the object of disgust? What is purity and what is impurity? What is clean and what is unclean? Where is the master who holds onto disgust and impurity? Think about who he is and what he looks like, and then relax and look at the appearance as unreal, cut it off as emptiness and let it go, throw away the non-existence like throwing away garbage. Thirdly, for those who cannot bear the terrible, shameful, disgusting, etc., from the previous meaning, repeatedly trample, drive away, and treat equally. Then think: You, the maker of disgust! You, the maker of fear! If the food is unclean, swallow it whole; if the drink is unclean, drink it with a gulp; if the dwelling is unclean, sleep there soundly; if the clothes are unclean, put them on quickly. Go to the leper's corpse and the plague place without hesitation. Mix intimately with male yaks, sinners, and the defiled. First, all the phenomena contained in the outer world and the inner sentient beings, the six realms of samsara and nirvana, are empty from the very beginning. And to think of purity and impurity, delicious and not delicious, disgusting and not disgusting, clean and not clean, like and dislike, these are all established by our own discrimination. In reality, there is not even a particle of true establishment.

Therefore, since there isn't even a speck of substance or truth in things, who is the one who feels disgust and where is the place of disgust? What is clean and what is unclean? What is pure and what is impure? Where is the master who holds onto disgust and impurity? Think about who he is, what he is like, and then, fully look at appearances as unreal. Completely let go in emptiness. Completely abandon in non-existence. The third is: For things that are incapable of disgust, shame, revulsion, etc., trample on the meaning of the former from its very nature. Drive away alone. Equalize the taste. Then think: You, the master of disgust! You, the master of shame! Then, if the food is unclean, swallow it whole. If the drink is unclean, gulp it down. If the dwelling is unclean, sleep soundly there. If the clothes are unclean, wear them tightly. Go without hesitation to leper corpses and plagues, etc. Mix with dzos, sinners, and those with defilements. This mind of emptiness has no distinction between clean and unclean. Just like the sky, there is no difference between incense and a rotting corpse. This body, a collection of the four elements, is itself the nature of impurity. It is the owner. It is the bladder. Because it is a body, there is no clean or unclean in it. Just as pouring water into water does not make it thinner, adding fire to fire does not burn. Just as applying black to charcoal does not make it blacker, pouring impurity into impurity does not make it more impure. Therefore, aversion and mixing are not established by conceptual thought, and in reality there is no difference. If you realize this, the yogi will be able to pacify many attachments and aversions, and the realization of the nature of reality will naturally arise. Machig said: The appearance of conditions is loaded as a burden. If all dharmas are not loaded as a burden, one cannot be liberated by the antidote of peace. So it is said. The third is to cut off the eight worldly concerns and happiness and suffering. There are three: What adverse conditions are cut off? What antidote is used to cut off? What benefits arise from cutting off? The first is: gain and loss, pleasant and unpleasant, fame and infamy, praise and blame, slander and spreading rumors, the chatter of people, bad words, mockery, little faith, no respect, contempt, little honor, false accusations, being despiised by everyone, discomfort, displeasure, etc.
