All those are the king's illusion, or the degree of accomplishment, or the king's soul-place, or the sign, that is, the king showing the external and internal secret weaknesses of himself, those you must keep in mind, and it is very important to diligently practice them. And that is also the inner sign and the secret sign. A person who can accomplish is rare, and the external subtle signs are certain to be accomplished, but whoever that person is, he must, as I have said, recognize well without confusing it with any other sign. If you cannot recognize it, there is no way to subdue the king, so do not be distracted, do not be mistaken, and strive to subdue him into the samadhi that torments him, then the inner and secret two will gradually be accomplished. Therefore, even if the external illusion is small, do not let it go, this is the key to subduing the king. Then, regarding the signs of the Matrika, there are also three: external, internal, and secret. The external signs are: many sandpipers crying out and attacking you, and running and playing in pairs, and playing, and following those who walk freely, and going ahead, and a reddish-brown bear roaring and showing a terrifying appearance, and many black pigs grunting.
