If asked whether the accumulation of merit is complete, it is certain that the accumulation of merit is complete. It is not said to actually give the body until the ground is attained. After attaining the first ground, it is said that the mind is more important than the body. Because there is not so much attachment to the body, it is seen as an illusion. Therefore, now, when the body is more important and more cherished than the mind, even if one has great compassion in one's mind, if someone who really wants to eat oneself from the heart appears, and one is determined to give, then one has attained the first ground. Compared to giving up the body when attaining the first ground, it is said that the mind of giving that arises at this time has a greater power to complete the accumulation of merit. Just as Dharmarakṣita gave his flesh to the sick, it was because he had not attained the ground that he experienced great pain. It should be understood that this is the realm of activity of a Bodhisattva. Then the actual practice is: based on the above-mentioned self-reliant view and meditation being stable, enhance it in the post-meditation state, and practice it in conduct. This has two aspects: the three essentials of subduing power, and the practice of abandoning the corpse. First, one should think like this: all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are empty and selfless, and are the nature of the three doors of liberation (three liberations). For the six types of beings who have not realized this, especially in order to place all the fierce ghosts and demons of appearance and existence in the supreme position of all kinds, one should go to dangerous places. In this state, with single-minded great reverence, transform adverse conditions into the path, regard obstacles as helpers, realize dualistic clinging as unborn, cut off self-grasping from the root, realize selfless wisdom, through emptiness and compassion, accomplish the benefit of oneself and others, occupy dangerous solitary places, push the practice of Chöd to the extreme, abandon attachment to the body, etc., remember the refuge, the Three Jewels, and repeatedly engage in refuge and generating the mind of enlightenment not just verbally, but from the depths of the heart. As it is said in the Profound Meaning: If you want to be omniscient, take refuge and pray. Generate the supreme mind, benefit all beings. "The Path to Obtain Liberation." Āryadeva says: Take refuge in the Three Jewels. The Venerable One says: Thereafter, the ascetic practice is, for the extremely great nature, to strike all attachment and aversion like hailstones, and to engage in entering and returning to the refuge of the Three Jewels.

In the midst of this, one should engage in the visualization of subjugation. From the scroll of Māgī's Dispelling Obstacles and Auspicious Sounds: When traversing charnel grounds and nāga abodes, it is extremely important to have three rounds of subjugation. If one does not subdue the former first, it is like a bird escaping from the hands of an evil enemy. Therefore, seven divisions of subjugation are needed. The so-called 'subduing first' is: Instantly visualize oneself as the Great Mother, Wrathful Black Mother, and from the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hūṃ) at her heart, emanate a golden vajra or a nine-pointed vajra made of sky-iron, solid and stable, large and heavy, with light rays and flames blazing and radiating intensely. Whatever it may be, it descends like a thunderbolt of sky-iron upon that dangerous place. Its essence is the Bodhicitta, great compassion, but its form is like light and rays blazing and radiating, with the roaring sound of flames spreading in all directions. All the gods, demons, and the eight classes of spirits residing in that dangerous place, along with their retinues, are deprived of the power to flee or take away, their valor and pride are crushed, their strength is lost, and they are subdued and fall into unconsciousness. Visualize that from that vajra, countless similar ones, of varying sizes, emanate with light rays, gathering all the local gods and demons and dissolving them into the evil spirits of the place. The vajras gather back, and from a distance of an arrow's flight, a fence of vajras surrounds the area, cutting off the escape routes of the gods and demons. Repeat this visualization again and again. The so-called 'seven divisions are needed' means: It says in that text, 'On the mountain, release a great lion to subdue; on the rock, release a golden vajra; in the water and lakes, release a fire garuda; on the roads and plains, cross vajras; on caves, temples, and stupas, suppress with burning tholums; in empty valleys and vast plains, cut off with vajra rock patterns.' Such as: erecting stakes, decorating, gathering paths, gnashing teeth, suppressing, obstructing, placing stools, etc. Even if one does not do these, there will be no harm. First, one should contemplate in this way: All phenomena of samsara and nirvana are empty and selfless, and are the nature of the three liberations. With the intention of placing all sentient beings of the six realms who do not understand this, especially the malevolent ghosts and demons that appear and exist, in the state of all supreme qualities, with this thought, and with unwavering devotion, transform adverse conditions into the path, and transform obstacles into helpers. Second,
