Like abiding in meditation, without moving or anything, listen with five perceptions: one's own mind is afflicted by the five poisons, so have the perception of a sick person; the lama has the means to remove them, so have the perception of a doctor; the Dharma is like nectar medicine, so have the perception of medicine; the Dharma-listening brothers and sisters are like friends attending to the sick, so have the perception of friends; practicing the Dharma is like healing the illness, so have these five perceptions. Without straying from the Dharma, from the depths of your heart and bones, with great devotion and respect, like a thirsty person desiring water, strive for the meaning. Even just hearing it is said to obtain the happiness and fruit of gods and humans, so what about practicing it? There is no doubt that you will obtain liberation and enlightenment. In the end, adorn it with pure dedication and aspiration, this is the practice. Regarding not knowing how to listen and rely, or knowing but being reserved, here is a strict warning: Tsondu Sengge said: The teacher hides, the self praises, Compiles scattered texts, Desires to be called wise. Self-praise gives rise to arrogance, Arrogance increases pride, Boasting "I am wise," Conceit and pride grow. Pleased with new acquaintances, Who can surpass my wisdom? Does not perform services, Spreads evil words to others. Does not practice, but makes many promises, The teacher's realization, Keeps in mind. Says it belongs to me, Sells it like merchandise. The whole country is filled with falsehood, Steals the key instructions, Boasts of being wise. Without the teacher's permission, Explains it to others. Confuses the texts, Desires to attain realization. Sweet mouth and dagger hand, Bound by stinginess. Surpasses others, Flees at the sight of the wise. Deceitful wealth-gatherers, Hypocritical types. If such a student arises, Do not speak this Dharma to them. Next, Machig Labdrön showed the two types of vessels, wide and narrow: Those with faith and diligence, Those who keep vows and have wisdom, Those with faith and desire, Should be taught. But for those with karmic connections, Only teach the oral instructions, Whether the illness will be cured is uncertain, Do not show the actual practice. When examining the vessels of individuals, Do not be stingy with the Dharma for the sake of wealth. But if you look at wealth, then it should be clear, If you cannot give up this, It is definitely a kind of unpredestined ignorance. Unless the entrance is closed, Do not show the sudden Dharma. Should observe the dependent arising well, Respect for the lama is paramount.

我,尊者啊!布施广大且智慧深邃,行为合理且摒弃世俗言语,此乃具福有缘之人。以四摄利他。如是说故,应善于理解并传播。对于不知如何听闻和依止,或者虽知却有所保留者,加以严厉告诫如下: 策努僧格说: 弟子暗地抬高自己,收集零散典籍以求得智者之名,以傲慢自大而洋洋得意,自诩聪明而生起骄慢之心,喜欢附和新事物,自以为是。不作侍奉却到处炫耀,不事修行却夸夸其谈。将上师的证悟体验记在脑中,说是“我的”而当做商品来贩卖,整个国家都充斥着谎言。盗取诀窍以冒充智者,未经允许便向他人讲解,歪曲经典且渴望证悟,口蜜腹剑,吝啬成性。贬低他人,见到智者便想方设法逃避,聚集财富的骗子之流。若出现这样的学生,此法不可传入其耳。 ༄༅།།如是说,玛吉尊玛开示了传播法器之宽窄二相:对于具有信心、精进、守护誓言且具智慧者,若具信心与意愿,则应予以传授。对于因缘而生信之人,除非以口头教诲,否则因不知疾病痊愈与否,故不应传授实修。观察弟子之根器,并非因财物而吝惜教法。然而若以财物衡量,则显而易见。若因此而不能布施,则必定是无缘愚昧之辈。除非入口已开,否则如遭雷击般的口诀不可传授。应谨慎观察并建立联系。 敬重上师且具悲心,布施广大且智慧深邃,行为合理且摒弃世俗言语,此乃具福有缘之人。以四摄利他。如是说故,应善于理解并传播。第三,关于修自心续,玛吉空行母宣说了基、道、果三者。初者有六:一、宣说获得人身之难得;二、若已获得,则宣说其胜于其他;三、虽已殊胜,然宣说其易逝;四、宣说死后受业力支配而于善恶道中漂泊;

I, the venerable one! Generous and wise, acting appropriately and abandoning worldly speech, this is a fortunate and karmic person. Benefit others with the four means of gathering. As it is said, one should understand and skillfully propagate. To those who do not know how to listen and rely, or who know but are reserved, a stern warning is given: Tsondu Senge said: The student secretly elevates himself, collects scattered texts to seek the name of a wise man, is proud and complacent, arrogant and conceited. He likes to agree with new things and thinks he is smart. He does not serve but shows off everywhere, does not practice but boasts. He keeps the guru's realization in his mind, says it is "mine" and sells it as a commodity, the whole country is filled with lies. He steals the key points to pretend to be a wise man, explains to others without permission, distorts the scriptures and desires realization, is sweet-mouthed and tight-fisted, bound by stinginess. He belittles others, and when he sees a wise man, he tries to escape by all means, a swindler who gathers wealth. If such a student appears, this Dharma should not be proclaimed in his ear. ༄༅།། As it is said, Machig Labdrön showed the two aspects of the vessel for propagation, wide and narrow: For those who have faith, diligence, keep vows, and have wisdom, if they have faith and desire, then show them. For those who have faith due to circumstances, unless you give them verbal instructions, because you do not know whether the disease will be cured, you should not show them the practice. Examine the vessel of the person, not to be stingy with the teachings for the sake of wealth. However, if you measure with wealth, it is obvious. If you cannot give because of this, then you are definitely an ignorant person without fortune. Unless the entrance is open, the pith instructions like a thunderbolt should not be shown. Be careful to observe and establish connections. Respect the guru and have compassion, be generous and wise, act appropriately and abandon worldly speech, this is a fortunate and karmic person. Benefit others with the four means of gathering. As it is said, one should understand and skillfully propagate. Third, regarding training one's own mindstream, Machig Dakini spoke of the three bases, paths, and results. The first has six: One, showing the difficulty of obtaining a human body; Two, if obtained, then showing its superiority over others; Three, although it is superior, showing that it is easy to perish; Four, showing that after death, one is driven by karma and wanders in the realms of good and evil;
