I, without regard for my own flesh and blood and life force, give him loving-kindness, and no matter where he goes, I will not let him go, but subdue him, and lead him to liberation. If he is still not subdued, then subdue him with both peaceful and wrathful means. If he is still not subdued, then he must be subdued by wrathful means. If he is still not subdued, then he can only be subjected to the work of fierce samadhi through fierce means, and he must be subdued even at the cost of flesh and blood, so that he can be initiated into the sacred Dharma. However, if one generates great hatred for one's own sake and acts fiercely in order to harm him, then both oneself and others will be the cause of suffering, and it will also contradict my religion. Therefore, there is no fault in acting fiercely solely for the benefit of others. For example, the glorious Lord of Wisdom, extremely fierce, powerful, and terrifying, with a black complexion, a fiercely furrowed brow, and gnashing teeth, shows a terrifying appearance and liberates vicious beings, but not in order to harm that being, but in order to separate that being from suffering and lead him to liberation. Parents disciplining their children is also for the benefit of the children and not for the benefit of the parents. Similarly, in benefiting sentient beings, one must not be tainted by the defilement of one's own desires. Those cruel and vicious non-humans, greedy for flesh and blood and life force, harm many sentient beings. In particular, that non-human who harms me is called a demon. That demon has been our parents countless times. After they pass away, because they do not recognize us and because of the power of accumulating bad karma, they harm us.

Because of (loving-kindness), one must enter the sacred Dharma. If one generates great hatred for one's own sake and acts violently to harm others, then both oneself and others will become the cause of suffering, and it will also contradict my religion. Therefore, acting violently solely for the benefit of others does not become a fault. For example, the glorious Lord of Wisdom, who is extremely fierce, powerful, and majestic, with a black face, a fiercely furrowed brow, and gnashing teeth, shows a terrifying appearance to liberate stubborn beings, but not to harm those beings. Rather, it is to separate those beings from suffering and place them in liberation. Parents disciplining their children is also for the benefit of the children, not for the benefit of the parents. Similarly, when doing things for sentient beings, one must not be tainted by the defilement of selfishness. Therefore, the so-called gods and demons cannot be distinguished by their appearance, nor by their behavior. That is, there are demons who have a beautiful and pleasing appearance, behave well, but harm sentient beings. There are also gods who have an ugly and terrifying appearance, and who benefit sentient beings despite their harmful intentions. If those non-humans with harmful intentions and cruel natures are pleased, they can become gods who are conducive to and supportive of the attainment of enlightenment. Therefore, because demons can become gods, they are called gods and demons. One should understand that the essence of gods and demons is not separate but one. Those cruel demons, when their lives end, can also be reborn as worldly gods in terms of essence and state, so they are called gods and demons, and their essence is the same. Similarly, if ordinary worldly gods with beautiful appearances are displeased, they can become harmful demons, so they are also called gods and demons. When those gods' lives end, they become non-human cruel beings and become demons, so they are called gods and demons. In order to benefit unruly sentient beings, the wisdom deities show wrathful forms, accompanied by retinues such as black crows, black dogs, and jackals. If ordinary people can see them, they will treat those wisdom deities as demons, so they are called gods and demons, and they are frightened. To harm all sentient beings, cruel demons are terrifying and
