Have you seen the Buddha's prophecy that it is not necessary to do so? If not, it is unreasonable to be so attached to worldly affairs and prepare a dwelling for tens of thousands of years. Or, all Dharma speakers should realize that this is being deceived by demons. Those who follow me, Pangmo, should do this! Without mouth (Tibetan: དུ༔, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: duḥ, Chinese literal meaning: 度!), that is my Dharma. Therefore, by offering the best food and wealth to the Three Jewels and praying for the blessings to pacify diseases and evil spirits, one can eliminate diseases and obstacles and obtain merit. If you are sick, invite a skilled doctor and apply the best, unexpired medicine to treat the disease. Treating diseases is a good way for ordinary people to follow. But I, Pangmo, at the time of death, cannot take away even a fraction of what is divided into a hundred strands of hair from the worldly prosperity, body, life, and other material bonds. Therefore, because I am free from the attachment to the inner and outer self, there is nothing to cling to or worry about. I do not care about my body and life, and I give myself as food to anyone who wants it. What need is there to mention other insignificant attachments such as food and wealth? For any condition such as disease and evil spirits, I treat it with a state of no-self, through focusing on Samadhi. External medical treatment and shamans are not necessary, that is my Dharma. In general, when benefiting sentient beings, if you have a body, possessions, eloquence, and power, you should give them away for the benefit of others. If you do not give them away and harm other sentient beings for your own peace, this kind of practice is not advisable. In the past, Shakyamuni Buddha generously gave away his head, hands, feet, and anything else that others wanted. Have the practitioners of today not realized this reason? Even if they have realized it, have they seen the Buddha's prophecy that it is not necessary to do so? If not, it is unreasonable to be so attached to worldly affairs and prepare a dwelling for tens of thousands of years. Or, all Dharma speakers should realize that this is being deceived by demons. Those who follow me, Pangmo, should do this! Without mouth (Tibetan: དུ༔, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: duḥ, Chinese literal meaning: 度!), that is my Dharma. This is how I do it, so please all disciples remember, your own

Without any attachment to land, body, possessions, eloquence, power, and all virtuous roots, one should give them away for the benefit of others. Without even a hair's breadth of selfish desire, one should gain unwavering confidence. To remain inseparable from the essence of love, compassion, and bodhicitta is what is called the supreme Chöd, the Mahayana, the great path of the Bodhisattvas, the source of the Siddhas, and the footprints of the Buddhas. Therefore, such a Dharma can liberate from samsara. However, the Hinayana Dharma, which seeks only one's own benefit and abandons sentient beings, makes it extremely difficult to attain Buddhahood and liberation from samsara. For example, in great darkness, the light of the moon and stars, and the fire kindled from butter and wood, although very bright, cannot dispel all the darkness except for their own individual nature. Just as when the king with seven horses (the sun) rises in the sky, all darkness is completely dispelled, so too, my Chöd of the Great Seal, like the sun of the Mahayana Dharma, arises and dispels the darkness of samsara. The Great Seal is that all phenomena encompassed by the container and its contents, from their very foundation, have no truly existent entity, not even a particle of form. Therefore, the state of self-nature emptiness is called the Dharma Great Seal. This is how I do it, so keep it in mind, all disciples. Without any attachment to one's own body, possessions, eloquence, power, and all virtuous roots, one should give them away for the benefit of others.
