This body and life I disregard, Again offering as food to the merciless ghosts, cutting off the self-grasping of the intermediate state, that is the dharma of the vagrant woman, me. Awareness hidden in the unborn realm of space, unimpeded power arising, self-liberated, Abiding in the state of emptiness, inner self-grasping is instantly cut, occupying the stronghold of non-doing wisdom, that is the dharma of the wild woman, me. In general, which is greater in benefiting beings? Benefiting a hundred sentient beings with form, Ah! It is more virtuous to benefit one formless being who is fierce and extremely powerful. Because one powerful non-human harms countless sentient beings with and without form, causing all sentient beings to suffer. And it itself, being constantly accompanied by a malicious mind, experiences endless suffering in the lower realms. Therefore, in order to prevent it from harming other sentient beings, and also to liberate it from the suffering of the lower realms, it must be tamed. Most people nowadays just drive it away, even if they can drive it away once, it will surely bring harm to sentient beings later. I can also drive away such a powerful being, but rather than driving it away, it is more virtuous to tame it and place it in happiness, I think. The method of taming is not through spells, medicines, and fierce mantras, but by seizing it with the iron hook of love and compassion, taming it solely with warm flesh and blood, and causing it to attain unsurpassed Bodhi, that is the dharma of the vagrant woman, me. Furthermore, benefiting a hundred women is less important than benefiting one man. Benefiting a hundred men is less important than benefiting one ordained person. Benefiting a hundred people driven by circumstances is less important than benefiting one who enters the Dharma gate due to impermanence and renunciation. Benefiting a hundred foolish people is less important than benefiting one wise person. Benefiting a hundred people who only seek their own benefit is less important than benefiting one who has the ability and courage to benefit others. Benefiting hundreds and thousands of animals is less important than benefiting one who can speak and understand meaning. Benefiting a hundred lay practitioners is less important than benefiting one novice monk.

Yes, it is more important to benefit one bhikshu than to benefit a hundred shramaneras. More important than that is to benefit one who understands the meaning of the Prajnaparamita. It is more important to accumulate one's own body than to accumulate a hundred piles of wealth. It is more important to make offerings for seven days in a secluded place than to stay in a village monastery and do a hundred special virtuous deeds. It is more important to cultivate bodhicitta towards one who is angry with you and shows malice than to have loving-kindness towards a hundred who have mental anguish towards you. It is more important to remember for a moment not to engage in the affairs of this life, knowing that all conditioned things are impermanent, than to endure hardships for a lifetime for the sake of desiring the fruits of this life. It is more important to subdue a little the clinging to self than to subdue a hundred other ghosts and demons. It is more important to meditate for a moment on the state of selflessness than to accomplish virtue for a hundred years with clinging to self. It is more important to recognize for a moment the thought of when one will die than to spend a hundred years speaking, practicing, and studying with the desire to be clever and famous. It is more important to take a lower position and do good, and to remember for a moment to dedicate to sentient beings, than to practice Dharma and virtue for a hundred years for the sake of wanting to be wise, virtuous, and good, and to gain profit and fame. These are the teachings of my Pangmo. Nowadays, for those who are afflicted by disease and evil spirits and whose lives are in danger, they invite and honor the blind sorcerers of the outer paths, who are called Bonpos. The blind Bonpos communicate through rituals and give offerings that will not harm the obstructing forces, claiming that this will benefit those with disease and evil spirits. They kill innocent animals, causing them endless suffering, offering fresh flesh and blood, and gathering other impure things. The Bonpos communicate through rituals and give offerings that will not harm the obstructing forces, claiming that they will use them to repay the debt of body and life. They kill innocent sentient beings, hoping to pacify diseases and evil spirits, avert disasters and obstacles, and gain long life. This is like killing the father to save the son, or killing the son to save the father. Those who do such things are foolish heretics, and their actions are inverted, confused, and meaningless. A piece of warm flesh and blood.
