Without fabrication. This is the supreme practice of Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, the principle of wisdom is explained. In short, all these meanings are taught by Machig (Tibetan: མ་གཅིག་) in six ways of cherishing, as it is said: Ignorance is like an old blind woman, a qualified lama is extremely cherished. Unenlightened knowledge is like a firefly, the essential instructions of the lineage are extremely cherished. Verbal instructions are like a parrot, practice and acceptance are extremely cherished. Experience and realization fabricated by the mind are like fog, taming awareness is extremely cherished. Even if all internal and external phenomena are thoroughly determined through mere hearing and thinking, without learning the key points of meditation, no matter how vast the hearing and thinking may be, it will not be able to eliminate the suffering of samsara like stacking bubbles. Although Ngok Lo (Tibetan: རྔོག་ལོ་), the all-knowing one, was a great being prophesied in the Mañjuśrī tantra, out of consideration for future followers, he said at the time of his passing, "This aggregate of bursting bubbles has deceived by showing itself as the nature of a mountain king." This shows the displeasure of not having arisen the wisdom of meditation. Nyan Chung (Tibetan: གཉན་ཆུང་) Lotsawa went to India three times, and although he was proficient in hearing, thinking, translating, and understanding both sutras and tantras, he did not realize the view. Later, he met Machig and realized it. These all contain profound meanings. Therefore, it is also very necessary to realize union. In the "Compilation Sutra," it says: "Billions of blind people without eyes, neither know the way nor can they enter the city. Without wisdom, these five eyeless pāramitās, without eyes, how can they touch enlightenment?" Thus, the necessity of wisdom is explained. Again, in the same sutra, it says: "Bodhisattvas do not fixate on the past, future, or present arising. The three times are pure. Whatever is unconditioned and unfabricated, this is the supreme practice of Prajñāpāramitā." Thus, the principle of wisdom is explained. In short, all these meanings are taught by Machig in six ways of cherishing, as it is said: Ignorance is like an old blind woman, a qualified lama is extremely cherished. Unenlightened knowledge is like a firefly, the essential instructions of the lineage are extremely cherished. Verbal instructions are like a parrot, practice and acceptance are extremely cherished.

It is said, 'Habits are like tuberculosis, it is very important to treat them early. The two accumulations are like the two shafts of a chariot, it is very important to unite them.' Therefore, the others have already been explained above. Although the first meaning can be explained in detail during the preliminary practices, the lama who reveals the true meaning is very important, so I will explain it a little here as well. Among them, a qualified lama is very important, which means that one must be someone who has reached the ultimate in listening, contemplation, and meditation. It is not enough to just touch the head, be barefoot, wear three kinds of Dharma robes, or have long hair, wear white clothes, or hold a hand drum and rosary, and have empowerment and lineage. One must have a mature bodhicitta and have the experiential realization of integrating Mahamudra, Dzogchen, and Madhyamaka into one. Just hearing is like hearing the history of brown sugar with the ears but not seeing it with the eyes. Just thinking is like seeing with the eyes but not tasting the flavor. Meditation is like tasting the flavor and knowing the reason for its sweetness. Therefore, it is especially important to have someone with meditation experience. The holy one said, 'Those who dispel dualistic grasping and doubt are liberated by the words of the Kagyu lamas. Likewise, practice according to the words of the lamas.' Again, it says in the same text, 'Although names and concepts are inconceivable, especially relying on the boat of the lama, with awakened faith, respect, and thirst, moisten with the nectar of blessings and instructions.' The Sutra of the Precious Treasury says, 'If you want to realize the meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom, you must realize it from the immaculate words of the Tathagata and the precious instructions of the virtuous spiritual friends who rely on them.' The habits of delusion are like tuberculosis, it is very important to treat them early. The two accumulations are like the shafts of a chariot, it is very important to combine them. Therefore, it is said that the others have already been explained above. Although the first meaning can be explained in detail during the preliminary practices, the lama who reveals the true meaning is very important, so I will explain it a little here as well.
