Everything is not other than mind. Thus it is said. The Holy One said: Eighty-four thousand inconceivable things, except for the mind, not one exists. The moment itself is awareness and non-awareness, the meaning of samsara and nirvana. It cannot be determined by examples, it transcends the sound of words and letters. No one can point out things, the root of self-nature is, emptiness and clarity are inseparable, not falling into extremes. The state of naturally great bliss free from elaboration, clear and unobstructed, the display of skill arises, whatever appears, is sealed with the vastness of emptiness. In general, the appearance as the three realms is also just a part of the mind's delusion. But all of that is the great wisdom of emptiness, the Middle Way. The Lankavatara Sutra says: Only the mind arises with discrimination, all external objects appear clearly, able to cut off all discriminating thoughts, this path is the Middle Way. This is the view of the final turning of the wheel, and the view of Asanga, not clinging to mind-only, but the definitive ultimate meaning. The Compendium says: All phenomena are without self-nature, if one can understand this well, this is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom. The Profound Meaning says: Primordial Dharma-nature is co-emergent with adventitious stains, the base, path, and fruit are realized, and are destroyed by view, meditation, and conduct. And so on, therefore, through extensive learning, generate certainty. Second, ༄༅། །The teacher of oral instructions and secret teachings is, Jetsun Dampa Rinpoche said: The sound of what is called Buddha, great, loud, important, is also, from the very beginning, without self and without ego, without direction and without kind, without object and subject, not grasped by the object, not indulged by letting go, not oppressed by placing, not destroyed by demolishing, not liberated by separating. That is your own true nature, knowing that bright and shining one is it. This is the view of the final turning of the wheel, and the view of Asanga, not clinging to mind-only, but the definitive ultimate meaning. The Compendium says: All phenomena are without self-nature, if one can understand this well, this is the supreme practice of the Perfection of Wisdom.

Oh, that too, from the very beginning, there is no I and mine. There is no direction or kind, no grasper and grasped. Not seized by grasping, not let go by releasing. Not dug up by placing, not destroyed by demolishing. Not liberated by separating. That is your own true nature, This knowing that is bright and flashing! Thus he said. Again, Kunga asked Dampa Rinpoche: What is the Prajnaparamita? He answered: It is beyond expression. Again he asked: What is Mahamudra? He answered: It is beyond the mind's ability to do. He asked: What is the Buddha's intention? He answered: It is free from conceptualization. He asked: What is meditation? He answered: It is co-emergent. He asked: What is the dissolution of delusion? He answered: It is that all inner and outer dharmas are liberated in the realm of words. Again, he said that the view is important for those who become Buddhas. Kunga asked: Although it is the view, isn't it falling into the extremes of permanence and annihilation? He answered: Because awareness has no fixation, it is free from the extreme of permanence; because the power manifests as anything, it is free from the extreme of annihilation; one's own radiance manifests as light, so it is free from the extreme of obscuration; the three kayas are spontaneously accomplished, so it is free from the extreme of straying; because there is no extreme or center, there is no permanence or annihilation. Thus he said. Jetsun Tilopa said: Mount Meru On the surface of gold, a bird dwells. The bird loses its own nature and appears as gold. Any wise person who realizes no birth, loses the nature of things and attains great bliss. And again, he himself said: Self-nature from the very beginning is Buddha, but because of non-realization, Buddhahood is not seen. Whoever realizes non-duality, that is Mahamudra. In the realm of realization, there is no seeing and no attainment. Said. Panchen Naropa said: The Chakravartin king's army, with power, rules over all the continents, and at the same time discovers the taste of co-emergence. To rule over samsara with power is truly amazing! Said. Vasudhara said: Before realization, this taste is very different from those with fruit. Likewise, before realization, Buddhas and sentient beings are distinguished. At the time of realization, even samsara becomes very great. Therefore, the distinction between realization and non-realization is difficult, there is no difference. Thus he said. Again, Kunga asked Dampa Rinpoche: What is the Prajnaparamita? He answered: Saying
