It is okay even without it. The third example is the lion: This Chö is like a lion, even if there are many groups, it is okay, even if there is only one, it is okay. A single person can accomplish it, it is good for the Chö practitioner to have other Dharmas, and even without them, they can accomplish the benefit of beings. The fourth example is the great drum of the gods: This Chö is like the sound of the great drum of the gods, it overwhelms all other musical instruments, so it is okay even without them, and even if they are there, they only assist and do not reveal the nature of their individual sounds. Similarly, it is okay to know how many Dharmas, it is okay not to know. The fifth example is the spring: This Chö is like a spring of accomplishment, it nourishes even if there are many people, and it nourishes even if there are few. Similarly, even if there are many monks and disciples, it flourishes, and even if there are few, it can flourish. The sixth example is the intelligent horse: This Chö is like the coat of a well-fed horse, any color, whether white or blue, is beautiful. Similarly, the Chö practitioner can adapt to any Dharma. Therefore, it is superior due to six characteristics that other Dharmas cannot match. Therefore, please be pleased with the greatness of the author. The second general meaning, speaking of the greatness of Chö with six metaphors, the first is the example of a precious jewel: This Chö is like a piece of diamond, turquoise, or gold, it is okay to have it complete, and it is okay not to have it. Even with a single instruction, one can accomplish both benefits. The second is the example of the snow mountain: This Chö is like a snow mountain, it is white even when it snows, and it is white even when it does not snow. Similarly, it is okay to have the support of other Dharmas, and it is okay not to have it. The third example is the lion: This Chö is like a lion, even if there are many groups, it is okay, even if there is only one, it is okay. A single person can accomplish it, it is good for the Chö practitioner to have other Dharmas, and even without them, they can accomplish the benefit of beings.
