of liberation, and the four categories of Dharma, are the Dharma to be explained. Among them, first is the meaning of the term "The Sacred Dharma of Severing the Demon": The severance practice established by the Wisdom Dakini Labkyi Dronma herself is widely known. If connected with the word of negation, then as the chapter on demons in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra says: "Whatever clings to anything from form to omniscience should be recognized as the work of demons." It also says that all the works of demons are done with attachment, without attachment, joy, anger, and pride, which are the four inner demons. And the four outer demons are the son of gods, afflictions, aggregates, and the Lord of Death. However, they are all included in the four inner demons. Therefore, when all the pride of the mind is completely cut off on that very object, and one abides in freedom from the four extremes or eight extremes of elaboration, it is known as the place of severing demons. It is. Furthermore, if connected with the word of practice, it is not contradictory to call it the field of practice because the Bodhisattva practices the application of aspiration and entry in order not to abandon all sentient beings. However, it is so called because of the local language. Therefore, the only name that is widely known is the place of severance. In terms of definition, as Machig said: "Because the root of mind itself is severed, the five poisons of affliction are severed, the extremes of view and meditation are shaken, the hope and doubt of action and result are severed, and all pride is severed, therefore it is called severance." Thus, with the guru's instructions, the root of the mind is severed, thereby recognizing the nature of mind; with the general and specific antidotes, the five poisons such as desire are severed; the extremes of view, meditation, action, and result are severed. As it is said in the Ornament of Clear Realization: "Here there is nothing to be removed, and there is nothing to be established." Thus, in the meaning of reality, the obscurations that existed in the past are removed, that is, they are severed in true establishment; and there is no new establishment of antidote qualities in true establishment, therefore the conceptual thoughts that grasp to the extremes of permanence and annihilation in view are severed. Furthermore, as it is said, "In reality, view reality," after realizing the meaning as it is, in the state of meditation, all the agitation of sinking, dullness, and conceptual thoughts are severed. When practicing the practice of realizing reality, the hope and doubt of benefit and harm to gods and demons are severed. And, the meaning of reality is manifested.

To become thoroughly familiar with La, cutting off the hesitation of hoping to obtain results from other sources and not obtaining them, liberation is attained when seeing correctly. So it is said. In the Collection of Precepts, it says: "Cutting is to cut off conceptual thoughts in their own place." This is cutting at the base. Also, in the Collection, when asked, "How does the son cut?" the answer is: "Cutting off what cannot be endured is called cutting. When all is realized as mind, there is no object to be cut off separately. When the nature of mind is realized as emptiness, there is no cutter and no cut. When the experience of non-duality is tasted, the demons are cut off before being cut off. Like a thief in an empty house." Therefore, it is called cutting in definition because it is cut off by the wisdom that realizes as unreal the arrogance of the object to be cut and the subject that cuts. So, how to practice such a path and the key points of practice are, in general, what is said in the Sutras and Tantras, and especially what is said in the Cho treatises, should be learned from the mouth of the Lama, and this is not the time to explain it here. Second, showing the source: From the Mother Sutras, such as the Extensive, Medium, and Concise, extensively explained, the concise meaning comes from the Sutra of the Collection of the Noble Ones: "The Bodhisattva with four causes, possessing wisdom and strength, is difficult for the four Maras to overcome and cannot be moved, abiding in emptiness, not abandoning sentient beings, acting as spoken, possessing the blessings of the Sugata." Therefore, one of them is the view of realizing samsara and nirvana as equal; the second is the compassion of not abandoning sentient beings; the third is the conduct of acting as spoken, learning the precepts of the aspiring and engaging Bodhisattva; the fourth is taking refuge with devotion that can receive the blessings of the Sugata and accumulating the two accumulations, especially the Guru Yoga maturing into essence. Thus, if the four causes are complete, as mentioned above, the four Maras cannot move them. As its branch, one must abandon attachment to the deceptive illusion of this life's phenomena, and until the realization of Cho is attained, one must diligently practice, enduring whatever happiness or suffering arises, examining before listening to the Lama's instructions, not just listening for a year, learning for a year, practicing for a year, or practicing for a year, but continuously engaging in the three studies of hearing, thinking, and meditating day and night.

From the very beginning, without any laxity towards the three kinds of delight, such as practicing as the holy ones have said. There is nothing else to do other than the holy Dharma. Protecting the vows and commitments of the master's disciples, both common and individual, at the cost of one's life; being ignorant of attachment and aversion to the eight worldly concerns (profit, loss, ruin, fame, praise, criticism, suffering, and happiness), and of karmic results; in general, being cautious and wary like poison towards food, wealth, and enjoyment; especially towards offerings of faith, offerings for the dead, and wrong livelihood; properly abandoning from the depths of one's heart all the actions condemned by the holy ones, such as having no shame or embarrassment, being reckless, distracted, lazy, wasting time with women, meat, alcohol, and sleep; possessing renunciation, sorrow, and the mind of renunciation; going to uninhabited wildernesses, cliffs, snowy places, and forests blessed by the holy ones of the past; especially not for the sake of the eight worldly concerns, competitive spirit, gain, honor, fame, etc., but with the key instructions for practicing the meaning of Chöd, frequenting cemeteries, dangerous places, etc.; Realizing the equality of samsara and nirvana, but being extremely careful not to confuse what is to be abandoned and adopted in terms of karma and cause and effect; at all times and in all circumstances, looking nakedly at one's own faults and seeing others as having qualities; not primarily being distracted by elaborate virtuous activities, but basing oneself on loving-kindness, sincerity, and great compassion; on top of that, spending time cultivating the wisdom of the empowerment meaning and the nature of one's own mind, with the part of the profound method of the swift path of secret mantra. Thus, manifesting the result of practice is the Chöd of the supreme Dharma Mahamudra. As Machik (referring to Machig Labdrön) said: Like the widely known Prajnaparamita, the practice is the Vajra Vehicle of Secret Mantra.
