Now, let the mind rest in itself. Look at what form its essence takes. Is it square? Is it round? Is it spherical? Is it oblong? Is it like a winnowing fan? Is it like barley? Is it triangular? Is it crescent-shaped? Try to look. Observe what color the mind is: various thoughts arise, repeatedly extending in memory. The appearance of so many thoughts is a sign that the mind has substance. If it were not a substance, these would not appear. If it has substance, then it will definitely have a color. Observe what color the mind is: is it white and black? Is it yellow? Is it red? Is it blue? Is it green? Observe what color is mottled and dark blue. Trace back to the source, pursue relentlessly. Observe with focused attention, diligently seek and investigate, look. If you don't find the mind, let it wander, let it flow. Look at this suddenly arising thought, look at this arising wandering, look again at this arising wandering. Do not be distracted by the number of wanderings, look at where this wanderer is? What is it like? Look. If you look but don't see, if you search but don't find, then it is like stopping to rest. Relax and let go. Put aside other virtuous deeds such as praying for three or seven days, concentrate your energy on the single task of finding the mind, and experience it. Because you need to clearly remember these three words during the day, you must become the owner of "I". From the morning onwards, the teacher will ask if you have found or found this wandering mind, or what it is like, and then clearly remember it like this. In these three days, I have nothing to say other than these three words. All you have to do is search for the mind, not anything else. If you feel tired, stop, distracted, forgetful, or sleepy, then where have I been sent? What is the point? When distinguishing the confusion of samsara and nirvana, there is no time to linger leisurely. To attain Buddhahood, meditation must arise. To generate meditation, the mind must be found. If you don't look for the mind, then think that it doesn't matter whether it exists or not, then discuss it with yourself, generate determination, and then do it. Finding the mind, the best leads to the best meditation, the middle leads to the middle meditation, the worst search leads to the worst meditation, therefore, the search must be diligent, the time must be long, and the meditation will be profound.

Should be done. In general. To all the Lamas Homage. Relying on the opening of the sky, the introduction to the mind is: First, make it suitable as a vessel through empowerment, and in the preliminary instructions, diligently engage in the activities of accumulating merit and purifying obscurations. Thereupon, the signs of completing the accumulations and exhausting the obscurations having arisen, begin to search for the mind by relying on focusing awareness. Then, the thought of those who are searching for the mind is: The mind itself, you cannot see it by looking, you cannot find it by searching, is it something without substance? Once you fall into this kind of doubt, now you can finally be introduced. There are three aspects to this: introduction in the meaning instruction, stabilizing meditation in the word instruction, and cultivating meditation in the experiential instruction. The first has three aspects: the key point of settling the body, the key point of the outgoing and incoming breath, and the key point of focusing the mind. The first is to go to a solitary place, and for the benefit of sentient beings, I will give the introduction to the opening of the sky, generate this kind of intention. Then, sit in the vajra posture, place the hands in the mudra of meditative equipoise, the spine straight, the neck slightly bent, the lips naturally placed, the eyes staring at the empty space in front. The key point of the outgoing and incoming breath is: there is no need to hold the breath, nor to tighten it, nor to exhale it, just relax naturally. The key point of focusing the mind is: do not artificially fabricate this awareness, but leave it in a daze. There are three methods of introduction: recognizing by tightening, introducing by loosening, and repeating by dismantling. The first is: from yesterday, let the mind search, the meaning of which is to understand this, look down with the eyes, stare at the tip of the nose, and for the flowing awareness, let it turn inward and stare. When it flows, what is the nature of the one who flows? When you remember, what is the nature of the one who remembers? Look. You cannot see it by looking, you cannot find it by searching, you cannot grasp it by holding, just leave it in that state, blankly. You cannot find what to look at, you cannot find what to meditate on, you cannot see the essence, just leave it relaxed in that state. There is no saying that the mind is this, there is no saying that it exists here, there is no saying that it is like this, just relax softly in that state. At that time, even though the eyes see forms, it is emptiness of appearance; even though the ears hear sounds, it is
