Thus, the teacher recites, and also contemplates that the Samadhi is the main deity being empowered. In the sky of emptiness, all the gurus and heroes and dakinis who pervade shower nectar, play musical instruments, sing auspicious songs, offer desirable offerings, and bless with body, speech, and mind, giving supreme and common accomplishments. After contemplating in this way, play a loud and short musical instrument sound. All of these should be done for all five empowerments. Then, the Vajra Dakini water empowerment, transforming the aggregate of consciousness into the deity assembly of the Vajra family, the affliction of hatred transforming into mirror-like wisdom, and the water element among earth, water, fire, wind, and space transforming into the nature of the water goddess Mamaki. Then, contemplate that the Ratna Dakini residing on the southern lotus petal places the five-family headdresses on your heads, and recite these words: The Ratna Dakini's headdress empowerment, today I bestow upon you, in order to perfectly accomplish the qualities of the Buddha, may you transform into the Ratna Dakini. The empowerment of the bell of the Dakini, I bestow upon you today. For the sake of accomplishing the deeds of the Buddhas, may you become a Karma Dakini. (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཀརྨ་ཊཱ་ཀི་ནཱི་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུཾ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ कर्म डाकिनी अभिषिञ्च हूँ, Sanskrit Romanized: oṃ karma ḍākinī abhiṣiñca hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Karma, Dakini, Abhisheka, Hum) Although the words and mantra are recited by the teacher, contemplate that they are recited by the Karma Dakini. Thus, as the Karma Dakini bestows the empowerment of the bell, may the aggregate of formation be purified into the mandala of the Karma family. May jealousy be transformed into the wisdom of accomplishment. May the element of wind be purified into the Samaya Tara. Then, the Buddha family Dakini of the East, contemplate that she places the crown and secret name upon your head. The empowerment of the name of the Buddha Dakini, I bestow upon you today. For the sake of perfectly accomplishing the Buddha's body, may you become a Sugata Dakini. May ignorance be transformed into the wisdom of the Dharmadhatu. May the sky goddess be purified into the Sugata Dakini. These transform the five ignorances into five wisdoms, therefore they are called the five common wisdom empowerments. The empowerment of the main lord, contemplate that the teacher places the thangkas and sadhanas of the five Dakini families, as well as mirrors, upon your head, and recite these words: The body, speech, and mind of the Vajra Dakini, blessed by all the Buddhas, may you, the great intelligent one, hold, and proclaim it equal to all the Buddhas.
