Herein lies the explanation called "Secret Path of a Million Dakinis." ༄༅། །A brief account of Machig (ma gcig, meaning "one mother"). Homage to the assembly of lamas, yidams, and dakinis! Having respectfully bowed to the feet of the wisdom dakini who is neither human nor non-human, I will now record the explanation of the offering of one's own body as food, according to the words of Machig. First, let me briefly relate the biography of Machig. Machig, the wisdom dakini, is the mother who gives birth to all Buddhas of the past, present, and future. The essence of her mind is Vajrayogini. Considering the benefit of sentient beings, she was born as the son of King Serkya of India, named Glorious Powerful Noble King. ༄༅། །After that, he was named Youthful Wish-Fulfiller. The reading and writing of all letters, and all other knowledge, he mastered without much study, merely by hearing and seeing. By the age of about five, he knew everything without any hindrance. Everyone said that this must be an emanation of the Buddha. At the age of ten, he took ordination in the presence of the Pandit Vidhibhadra, and was named Dondrup Sangpo (Accomplishing Virtue). He stayed in the presence of the lama for three years, becoming proficient in grammar, Pramana, Prajnaparamita, Vinaya, and Abhidharma. He became more proficient than the lama. The lama also thought that he was a worthy vessel, so he taught him the four classes of tantras. He became particularly proficient in the four classes of tantras. After that, he made respectful confessions to all the scriptures in the presence of the lama, and made many distinctions in the four classes of tantras. In particular, he offered the realizations that arose in his mind to the lama, and the lama was very pleased, saying, "Dondrup Sangpo, I am not as good as you! Now, in the Copper Island in the north, there is a guru named Guru Ratna. He is a great accomplished one of Chakrasamvara, who visibly erected the mandala of emanation. He is proficient in all the scriptures and possesses all the qualities. Go there, cut through your doubts well, practice the unsurpassed secret mantra, and attain accomplishment! You will benefit many sentient beings." So he went to Guru Ratna, who saw him as a worthy vessel.

So at the age of sixteen, he went to Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya) and argued with the heretics, and the heretics were defeated, and one hundred thousand households were incorporated into the Buddhist Sangha. He stayed in Vajrasana (Bodh Gaya) for four years. Then Jetsunma Tara said: You must go to Tibet to benefit sentient beings, practice quickly. Then he thought that he must go on a pilgrimage, so he went north. He went to a charnel ground, and as soon as he lay down there, a charnel ground dakini, holding bone ornaments and a curved knife khatvanga, said: Do you have no other place to sleep but in my charnel ground? Then she showed many strange miracles. He subdued her with samadhi, and the dakini offered her life essence and made a vow. The next morning at dawn, he saw fifteen selflessness mother goddesses in the sky, saying: Yogi, you go to Mount Potala, practice quickly, and then go to Tibet. After saying that, she disappeared like a rainbow. Then he thought: I am still young, I must complete a perfect practice. What kind of practice can be completed? He thought: It is also difficult to subdue the fierce people of Tibet, and I don't know what method to use to subdue them. Just then, at dawn, the five deities of Mahamaya appeared, saying: Yogi, you go to the cave of Bajala Badana on Mount Potala, practice the practice of the five deities of Black Wrathful Dakini, because you must go to subdue the sentient beings of Tibet as soon as possible, so you must quickly cultivate diligence. After saying that, she disappeared into light. At dawn, the charnel ground dakini said: I will be your guide. So together with the dakini, he walked quickly and arrived at the cave of Bajala without hindrance.
