Having arrived at a certain place, climbing houses, entering inside, circumambulating, watching pleasing sights, but not finding a way to get out from within. After going up, unable to come down, wandering around but unable to leave the village. Entering among many offerings, wealth, monastic robes, and Buddha images, claiming ownership, carrying them one by one, and hoarding them. Also, many monks skilled in Dharma engage in debates, arguing about tenets. Great scholars and great Bonpos, and those wearing monastic robes who claim to be human kings, wearing hats, holding golden umbrellas, wearing splendid silk clothes, cloaks, robes with unsewn sleeves, and silk skirts of various colors, sitting on gold and silver thrones, spread with various silk cushions, silk mats, and damask soft cushions. Hanging various silk curtains and banners, possessing many gold, silver, and precious jewels, and various treasures such as bowls and plates. Copper vessels filled with large amounts of wine brewed from rice, grapes, barley, etc., and many monks offering refreshments in splendid attire, and nuns adorned with splendid ornaments, sitting in the corners of jade thrones. Sitting in the temple, and assemblies of those riding lions, assemblies of those riding horses, assemblies of those riding elephants, and assemblies of those riding vehicles. Having gone to those places, prostrating and paying homage, listening to the Dharma and developing reverence, circumambulating. Being overwhelmed by their majesty, feeling somewhat afraid, even if not performing prostrations or other such actions, making friends with them, or using Dharma debates as an excuse, being discordant with them and engaging in disputes, these are signs of inner emptiness, it is an emptiness of the depths. Also, minor emanations of kings will be like this: many naked young children, those wearing cotton clothes, those wearing sheepskin coats, those wearing monastic robes, those with hair knots, playing and frolicking. From immature, hairless young children to children under five years old are playing, being held in laps, carried on backs, walking together. One becomes attached to young children, and to lions, elephants, monkeys, foxes, white dogs, spotted dogs, and marmots, etc.
