If one has mastered the treasury of space, then all suffering and happiness will be equal in the realm of Dharma; all adverse conditions and obstacles will manifest as accomplishments and auspiciousness, thereby increasing merit, and if one is a person who can transform them into aids on the path, then even bad things like dog skin will not become faults. If one is not such a person, those who initially aspire to liberation should know that they should not hold impure things like dog skin. Now, regarding "earth lords" and so on, they are explained with two meanings. First, earth lords have two types: common and specific. Generally speaking, "earth lord" refers to those who crawl on their stomachs. Because the entire earth is regarded by those who crawl on their stomachs as their own body, if others enjoy even a fingernail-sized piece of land, they will generate the thought of cutting their body. Therefore, it can be determined that the entire earth is owned by those who crawl on their stomachs, so the general earth lord of the earth is the crawling ones. Relying on the crawling ones, the specific earth lords are those who regard that area as their own. That is, Pig-head, Hand, Bhadra, and Tese are the four who specifically own each direction of the earth, and these, together with their many retinues, are called earth lords. There are also two types of ground lords: common and specific. Generally speaking, "ground lord" refers to the earth goddess. The earth goddess rules over all areas, including the body of the crawling ones and the earth, and exists stably inseparable from the earth, and is a goddess naturally formed from the nature of the earth. She is the mistress of the earth lords such as Pig-head, and all other spirits residing on the land and rocks, therefore, the general mistress of the earth is the earth goddess. The specific ground lords refer to the ordinary deities who belong to the retinue of the earth goddess and reside separately in various places. There are also two types of regional lords: common and specific. Generally speaking, "regional lord" refers to India, China, Mongolia, Jiang, Mon, Nepal, Li, Tagzig, Zhangzhung, Lopa, Mangge, and Tibet, These are the respective territorial extents named after each.

In general, what is the scope of a region's jurisdiction? The master who possesses each large region is called a regional deity. A specific regional deity is: among all the large regions, the master of the respective jurisdictions of the small, subordinate regions that are distinguished by name. That is called a specific regional deity. As for the term "place deity," there are two types of places: general and specific. There are also two types of place deities: general and specific. Generally, a place refers to: the earth, snow mountains, rocky mountains, rivers, trees, and their shapes, colors, essences, etc., which gather interdependent connections, are adorned with various qualities, and possess abundant power. That is where all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have bestowed their blessings of body, speech, and mind, and where all the heroes and dakinis who possess the power of body, speech, and mind gather and reside permanently, or where the blessings of the body, speech, or mind of the Buddhas and their retinue reside, is called a place. Such earth, rocky mountains, rivers, and trees, no matter where they are located and how many there are, are not the result of human effort, so there is no ownership. The earth and so on are places that are naturally accomplished, so they are called general places. Specific places are: those that are constructed through human effort, the supports of the body, speech, and mind of the Buddhas and their retinue, whatever the material may be, whether they are embossed, cast, carved, or painted, and their decorations and colors, and palaces with various offerings, blessings, and power, are called specific places. Such general and specific places are blessed by all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, and are palaces where heroes and dakinis gather, possessing immense blessings. The general masters of these are the twelve Tanma goddesses and the protecting mothers. Furthermore, the Dharma protectors circumambulate and roam those places with great blessings, possessing all those places, holding vows, and practicing the Dharma from the depths of their hearts.

Those who have the ability to send those who break their vows and do not practice the Dharma to evil destinies, and who help good people, are called protectors of the place. These are the general place owners. There are also specific place owners, depending on what the place is. There are two types: those who hold onto and continuously inhabit a place separately, and those who are temporarily held by individuals. Among these, the ones who continuously inhabit are those who hold onto each and every place, both general and specific, and continuously inhabit that place. The name of the spirit that is widely known in that place is called the specific place owner who continuously inhabits the place. The place owner of an individual is someone who practices our own religion, and whoever lives in a secluded place, whoever is the owner of that place, says, "That is my place." Because they only hold it temporarily, they are called specific individual place owners. There are also village owners, both those who originally live there and those who arrive suddenly. A village refers to a dwelling place where humans, livestock, and spirits gather, or many palaces or houses that are connected and gathered together. All those great cities, due to the power of karma, are inhabited by non-human spirits who continuously reside in the city, and they are called the original inhabitants of the village. The ones who arrive suddenly are those who, even though they hold onto the city, do not intend to reside there. They wander from one city to another, or stay in the city for two or three days, or a month, or two or three days, and spread various calamities such as plagues and famines. They wander at all times and in all forms. These are called the village owners who arrive suddenly. Therefore, understand those distinctions in that way. Do not spare the effort of offering your body without abandoning the mind of benefiting others. All disciples. Thus he spoke. Then the Lion of Dharma asked: Mother, in general, it is wonderful that you have spoken about the faults and virtues of wild animals and their skins, and the distinctions of the earth lords, etc. Our own sect
