The attachment and aversion of the realm of objects, just realizing that the root is pride, for example, the smoke in the cracks of the wall, like the sparks of the stove extinguishing themselves, the pride is completely cut off, and the attachment to things is liberated. Like annihilation, do not negate the realm. Recognizing the severance of the root, the demons with obstacles, will surely sever all demons. Like a magician, appearing but not giving rise to attachment. Therefore, cut the rope of pride, even if cut, it is not really cut, if you recognize the severance of the root, you cannot grasp it, and you will be liberated in the space of the Dharma realm. May the precious Laza, which does not need to be calculated, be cherished. Unobstructed demons are also included in pride. The five poisons and other afflictions, as well as the fear of invisible ghosts, and the expectation of non-existent gods, similarly, the hopes and doubts in the heart, etc., are the demons that generate pride, and are the aids to pride. The liberation of hatred in itself also comes from cutting off the root of pride, liberating from the demons of the hell of torment, and obtaining wisdom like a mirror. The liberation of greed in itself also comes from cutting off the root of pride, liberating from the demons of hunger and thirst, and obtaining the wisdom of individual awareness. The liberation of ignorance in itself also comes from cutting off the root of pride, liberating from the demons of the animal of exploitation, and obtaining the wisdom of the Dharma realm. The liberation of jealousy in itself also comes from cutting off the root of pride, liberating from the demons of the changing person, and obtaining the wisdom of accomplishing deeds. The liberation of arrogance in itself also comes from cutting off the root of pride, liberating from the demons of fighting and falling, and obtaining the wisdom of equality. Without cutting off pride, even the five poisons, cutting off pride is the wisdom of self-liberation. Therefore, everything is contained in the heart. Like the lion on the top of the white snow mountain, without feeling fear and timidity, if you have the confidence of no-mind, the gods and ghosts of the manifested world cannot rise. Even if a hundred rise, the instructions are clear. If you know it is your own illusion, you will surely become a great power training. Do not cut off the stream of thoughts, do not practice, recognizing the self-arisen is enough. Diseases and the like are also the same. Recognizing the severance of the root and cutting off, this instruction surpasses all instructions. Even if you recognize it, if you do not cut it off directly, it is like discarding a sharp blade. The view cannot protect, and is bound by timidity. The yogi who combines view and practice is a hero.

By bestowing the empowerment of pure vision, Like vanquishing all enemy forces. Vanquishing the demons in the realm of reality without arrogance. Emaho! By severing self-arrogance, the demons are pacified. By realizing rootlessness, manifest Buddhahood. That should be especially placed on oneself. Everything should be placed in that way. The demon of joy and attachment also gathers in arrogance. Being joyful and attached to common Dharma, Being joyful and attached to the supreme fruit, Arise from one's own arrogance. If there is attachment, it will definitely become a demon. The self-arising without attachment is, Said to be the adornment of the Dharmakaya without arrogance. The fruit of the three kayas is oneself, So there is no need to generate joy and attachment elsewhere. Liberation from samsara itself, Nirvana cannot be sought from elsewhere. From the self-appearance of thoughts, There is no need to deliberately meditate on non-thought. Therefore, everything is arrogance, I have spoken of severing arrogance. Everything is said to be placed in purity. There is no grasping to the pure mind. To establish with an example, The yogis who have obtained the key instructions, Like birds feeding their chicks. If the key instructions are transmitted by the beak, Like the chicks dying of starvation. One will definitely wander in samsara. Like raising a good calf, If one is full and does things to help others, Like feeding the calf and so on. If one severs one's own arrogance, Sentient beings will definitely be liberated. There is no doubt that the benefit of others will be accomplished. Like a great garuda soaring in the sky, Without effort, one can see the four continents. One is not afraid of steep cliffs. One subdues crows and so on with power. Similarly, With the decisiveness of practice, Realizing that the four demons have no basis. Subduing ghosts and demons with power. One is not afraid of the three lower realms. If one does not ascertain rootlessness, Practicing the Dharma of cause and effect, Is like leaving the trunk and pruning the branches. The yogi who realizes rootlessness is, Knowing that thoughts are sudden, Practicing the Dharma without acceptance or rejection. Seeing form as the body of mind, Hearing sound as the speech of mind, Whatever is thought is seen as the mind's intention. Cause and effect are not in the example, note: seen as the meaning of non-existence. The state of abiding, the state of meditation is, Like the murals in a temple, With a good posture and a smiling face, But without the thoughts of a human mind.
