Om, well established, vajra, svaha!) Auspicious. The profound Prajnaparamita Chod instruction text dwells. Homage. The great collection of profound Prajnaparamita Chod instructions dwells here. Homage. In the state of unspeakable, unthinkable, and beyond thought, I prostrate to the realm beyond objects and without focus. This great collection of Chod teachings, I write down in the hope that it may benefit some beings. The root of demons is one's own mind. Whatever appears as objects, if one clings and is attached to awareness, one is seized by demons. When the mind grasps objects, it is deceived. There are four types of demons: those that rely on external objects with obstacles (Note: demons), and those that rely on unobstructed internal thoughts (Note: demons). Those that rely on the manifestation of joy, pride, and qualities (Note: demons), Homage. and the dualistic thoughts that give rise to arrogance (Note: demons). These are also included in the demon of arrogance. Although there are many demons with obstacles, those that appear to the sense faculties are demons with obstacles when analyzed with refutation and affirmation. If one grasps them, one is bound in samsara. Form is empty in its own nature of form. Meditate on emptiness without attachment to form. By not being attached to form, one is liberated from the demon of grasping at permanence. By not meditating on emptiness in the mind, one is liberated from the demon of annihilation. However, the appearance of form cannot be refuted; do not grasp it.
