The obstacles of the ground will not arise, the path is complete. Not making an effort is the supreme path. It is certain that it is spoken by the Buddha. If you realize without making an effort, Then you don't need to stop the flow of mind. Like a mirage, it is naturally liberated. (These two verses are mostly missing in the versions.) Note: Thus, the yogi who realizes, Does not need to stop the unrestrained behavior. Whatever you do becomes the path, Not doing is the path. The saying of the unachieved result, And the saying of the three-body result, Are said for the sake of guidance, Names and metaphors, etc., There is not even a speck of certainty. If it is established, it will fall into extremes. The other shore of samsara is transcendence. The Perfection of Wisdom, Is not established in the realm of consciousness. What is established in consciousness is the dharma of samsara. If you do not realize the unestablished result, No matter how hard you try to establish it, You will not attain liberation. If the attachment to dharma is not eliminated, By practicing dharma with an attached mind, The dharma will also become an assistant to bondage. Therefore, exchange the pith instructions with your life. The Buddha is not a conditioned phenomenon, Therefore, it cannot be achieved by conditioned effort. Do not cling to conditioned dharmas, Do not have great expectations for fabricated dharmas. Without attachment to the body is the body of the Victorious One, Without attachment to speech is the speech of the Victorious One, Without attachment to the mind is the mind of the Victorious One. Apart from the unattached luminosity, Do not seek other secrets of the Victorious One. Emaho! Cutting is cutting off conceptual thoughts, The teaching is that the nature does not change, The gathering is shown as the gathering of teachings. Emphasizing the experience, Is beyond the object of focus, Away from the mind of experience. At the time of cutting in a secluded place, etc., Just as when a fire burns, The fire itself also feels pain. The pith instruction to cut off and suppress (afflictions) in (secluded) places, Is like a wonderful fire burning. Adverse conditions are regarded as a burden, Understand that the burden is the key. If everything is not regarded as a burden, Then you cannot be liberated by the friend of peace. Go to secluded places and mountains! Do not be distracted by metaphors, Do not cling to the words of metaphors. Blessings will not arise, only empty words will be brought. Therefore, experience in a secluded place. (This sentence is not in the text, but it is added because of the beauty of the sentence.) Note 109: The pith instructions of the Perfection of Wisdom, the teachings of Chö.

The Great Assembly, completed by Ma gcig Ye shes kyi mkha' 'gro Lab kyi sgron ma. It is said that during the time of Grapa Hagton, about eighty people listened to and explained this scripture. It seems that there was also an early commentary combined with the "Collection Sutra" (mDo sdud pa). The Dharma Lord Rangjung Dorje is known for his outlines and commentaries. There are many later commentaries on the scripture. This scripture and the "Wish-Fulfilling Jewel" written by the Brahmin Aryadeva seem to be the foundation of all Chöd instructions. Note: May there be auspiciousness at all times. (Sanskrit, sarva dā kalyāṇaṃ bhava tu, May there be auspiciousness at all times) गं (Tibetan, गं, gam, seed syllable) भि (Tibetan, भि, bhi, seed syllable) रा (Tibetan, रा, rā, seed syllable) र्व (Tibetan, र्व, rva, seed syllable) चि (Tibetan, चि, ci, seed syllable) त्त (Tibetan, त्त, tta, seed syllable) हृ (Tibetan, हृ, hṛ, seed syllable) दयं (Tibetan, दयं, dayaṃ, seed syllable) नाम (Tibetan, नाम, nāma, name) Entitled "The Essence of Profound Meaning, the Heart Essence of All Instructions, the Prajñāpāramitā Chöd Scripture," may it abide here. Homage to the Lama and the Mother of the Conquerors! The Dharmakaya, free from elaboration, beyond speech, thought, and expression, is the realm of space. The Sambhogakaya, complete with marks and signs, abounds in glorious realms. Manifesting in various forms to tame beings, accomplishing the benefit of others. I bow to the feet of emptiness, compassion, and the perfection of aspiration. Subduing the four maras, the Dharma of the Great Vehicle. The meaning of the Perfection of Wisdom, where samsara and nirvana are inseparable. Turning obstacles into the path is the intention of Mother Jomo. Transforming adversity into a friend is the instruction of Chöd. Understanding the meaning of words, with vast compassion, possessing the eight qualities of wisdom. Perfecting self-interest, skillful in accomplishing emptiness and compassion, and eliminating faults. Having faith, diligence, devotion, and the armor of perseverance. Desiring protection from fear, higher rebirth, good wishes, and the attainment of omniscience. Receiving empowerment, supreme realization, and becoming a vessel for the profound teachings. Searching for the nature of mind through the path of accumulation and purification, and introducing it. For the sake of cutting off non-understanding, wrong understanding, biased understanding, and doubt. Those fortunate ones, hold well this path of the Victorious Ones. The four maras are the gods, afflictions, aggregates, and the Lord of Death. Especially the four maras of attachment and non-attachment, joy, pride, and arrogance. Cemeteries, empty valleys, temples, single trees, empty rooms, and other places. Sleep in places where your own mind fears, is afraid, and is cautious. At night, fear arises, spirits gather, and various thoughts arise. Cut off doubts, remove obstacles, and increase life and merit at this time. Desiring omniscience.
