Rest without apprehension. Rest without pride and conceptualization. Rest without hope and doubt. Alternatively, rest having understood the seven methods of resting the mind's recognition. Resting in this way, joyful experiences fade, the mind is relaxed and at ease, warmth arises, awareness is comfortably clear, and the mind moves with ease and comfort. Definitive awareness increases further. At that point, demons are resolved into dharmata, conceptual thoughts arise as wisdom, the five poisons are transformed into medicine, and bad omens are taken as auspiciousness. Furthermore, during meditation, without fear or apprehension, resting in the state of dharmata, there will be encounters with gods and demons, as well as loud noises, striking, pulling, cursing, uttering various sounds, displaying various forms, collapsing mountains, and in this way, various magical displays will occur. At that time, no matter how various magical displays appear, one should recognize that the nature of mind is self-appearing. This itself is the encouragement of virtuous practice. Therefore, do not grasp the body as the body, do not grasp the gods as the gods, do not grasp the magical displays as magical displays. Release awareness into the essence of dharmata, without fear or apprehension, without mind or conceptualization, let the mind loosen in its own way, and be at ease and comfortable. Le. Loosely. Scattered. Clearly, without mental support, without connection, let behavior be relaxed and unrestrained. Resting in this way, as a sign that experience and realization arise together: the mind is at ease and comfortable, awareness is comfortably light, joyful experiences fade, body and mind are at ease and clear, warmth arises, wanting to dance, wanting to sing, wanting to wander freely, wanting to do things never done before. If the desire arises to go to places where gods and demons gather, where one never wanted to go before, do not obstruct awareness, but let it flow naturally. Afterward, calmly bring it all together, relax and release without distraction, and rest as before. At that point, the transformation of demons into gods will be evident. Furthermore, when there arise various unpleasant words such as, "I will extract your heart," "Your Dharma and meditation are useless," "You will die at this moment," and so on, do not think they are true, but let awareness be loose and relaxed, and rest with a broad mind. Rest without fear or apprehension, without pride or conceptualization. Transforming wrong views into correct views.

Also, in dreams, various miracles will appear, such as being on the edge of a cliff, about to roll into an abyss, crossing canyons, passing through forests, floods, great waters, great flames, black whirlwinds, landslides, many waterfalls, being thrown into a pit, being carried away by foxes, and so on. These are all kinds of miracles. Also, being chased by many people, being killed by those wielding weapons, being mauled by many wild beasts, being beaten by many animals, and many herds of animals, birds, flies, fish, frogs, bumblebees, mosquitoes, horses, cows, and so on, causing harm to the body in dreams. Whether the dream is good or bad, do not cling to it. These are illusions of the mind. Recognize them as catalysts for meditation. Without fear or apprehension, in the nature of reality, without arrogance or thought, do not grasp at anything that comes to mind, but relax and let go. Whether the dream is good or bad, it is a manifestation of your own mind, an image of habitual patterns. In reality, nothing is truly established. In any case, in the state of non-thought, miracles naturally subside, naturally purify, and naturally liberate. Shatter the arrogance of the mind with wisdom, and rest awareness in emptiness and clarity. In this way, the mind will feel ease, awareness will feel joy, and habitual patterns will dissipate. Thus, when awareness is like When it is empty and clear like the center of pure space, appearances will arise without attachment. The thoughts of dreams will appear as the nature of reality. Also, if the heart feels displeasure, wants to leave, feels anger, dislikes staying still, dislikes practicing virtue, and the mind wanders to many thoughts and cannot abide in its own nature, it means that awareness is distracted and the mind is invaded by demons. The remedy for this is to understand that the nature of mind is inherently so, and that demons do not exist independently. Rest awareness naturally in the state of the nature of mind. By resting in this way, thoughts will naturally liberate in the state of non-thought and equanimity, awareness will feel ease, habitual patterns will dissipate, and experience will feel joy. At that time, discursive thoughts will appear as wisdom. Regarding the appearances of desirable objects in one's own mind, whether pleasant or unpleasant, good or bad, praise or blame, good or bad, yes or no, and so on,
