is that the mind of enlightenment is not produced from cause in the beginning, not produced by conditions in the middle, and ultimately has no birth, death, change, its essence is free from all grasping, there is no definition to point out, its nature is clear and clear, without thought, it is unconditioned reality, it should be known that it is the only reality. Also, In the Great Mother Sutra, it says: "The mind is immutable and without discrimination." And, "The mind is no-mind, the nature of mind is luminosity." Second, there are seven ways to show how to abide: abiding without fabrication, without contamination, without transformation, without distraction, in its own nature, as it is, and naturally. The first is: the awareness of enlightenment The meaning of originally abiding, on the nature of reality, knowing that awareness is relaxed and released in its own way, soft, light, clear, bright, open without bias, Spreading without thought, clear, relaxed, joyful, without being disturbed by any discriminating thoughts, abiding in ease and comfort. Second, abiding without being contaminated by discriminating thoughts is: placing one's own mind in an uncreated state, without thinking of anything. Not thinking of like or dislike, pleasure or pain, hot or cold, food and drink, enemies and friends, self and others, attachment to desirable qualities, and samsara and nirvana, etc. This is also what the Prajna Sutra says: "From not thinking of form to not thinking of all knowledge, therefore it will not be mixed into the desire realm, will not be mixed into the form realm, will not be mixed into the formless realm." Third, abiding without being transformed by the object is: one's own mind is not moved by anything, abiding without seeking. This is also because the mind has no obstacles, so there is no fear, far from inversion, reaching the other shore of nirvana. Fourth, Abiding without being distracted by the objects of the six aggregates is: the mind abides in an inconceivable state, its nature is bright, clear, and happy, without being distracted by the discriminating thoughts of good and bad objects, constantly abiding in the reality like the sky. This is also what the Prajna Sutra says: "All dharmas are based on the sky, and they do not depart from this basis." Fifth, self-nature

The way to settle into that very nature is: It is good to settle the mind without losing any memory or conceptualization. It is to settle the awareness without support in the state of bliss, emptiness, and clarity. As it is said in the Mother Tantra: "Through the equality of the Perfection of Wisdom, all phenomena are not diminished." So it is. Sixth, to settle into one's own state without engaging in perception is to settle in the meaning of being bright and clear, without any object of focus, and inconceivable, in the state where the essence of mind has always been abiding in the nature of reality as it is. Seventh, to settle into the original state as it is, is to settle naturally in one's own way, without effort or accomplishment, in the vast and expansive state, because the nature of reality has always been abiding, and there is no confusion of mind in that realm of reality. As it is said in the Compendium: "This is inseparable and indivisible from the realm of space." So it is. If one knows how to settle in the state of recognizing the mind, then the power of qualities, experiences, warmth signs, and so on, will arise spontaneously. Third, the instruction on separating blessings from body and mind is: First, take refuge and generate bodhichitta. Offer vast offerings. Pray to the lama. Then, stand up with a "kak" sound. Cross the two feet and join the two hands in prayer. Straighten the body upright. Without letting the awareness wander elsewhere, release the connection between body and mind in this way: This body is like a bubble of form. Feeling is like an illusion. Perception is like a moon in water. Formation is like a mirage. Consciousness is like a banana tree. Impermanent. Suffering. Impure. A sack of pus and blood. A fragment of bone. A network of veins and tendons, and so on. Apart from the characteristic of impermanence and change, there is nothing stable, permanent, or reliable. Since the mind is naturally the luminous nature of reality, which is beyond suffering, think that you must separate body and mind and settle into the state of no birth. Gather your own mind into a sphere at the soles of your two feet. Then, slowly draw it up from below. Hold it for a moment at the navel. Then, draw it to the heart. Then, draw it to the tip of the tongue and hold it for a moment. Then, in the opening of the Brahma's hole at the crown of the head, shoot the combined wind and mind upwards like an arrow as far as it will go, and release it freely into the expanse of the sky. Release it without attachment. Release it completely. Release it utterly.
