That should be done. Second, the instruction not to be attached to enjoyment: Regard deceptive enjoyment as an echo, and abandon the mind of attachment and clinging, this is merely understanding. Second, by doing this, the demon of joy is cut off. Third, regarding cutting off the demon of the mind, there are nine points. First, the confidence of not being attached to anything is: Do not be attached to anything, and do not fixate on non-fixation. If phenomena and existence are not fixated upon, then how could the mind and intention be fixated upon? From the Extensive Mother Sutra: Subhuti, fixation is narrow, those with a concept of fixation have no attainment, no realization, no unsurpassed Bodhi. Asked: Bhagavan, if there is no fixation, then is there attainment? Is there realization? Is there unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment? The Bhagavan replied: Subhuti, because the realm of Dharma is without delusion, non-fixation itself is attainment, non-fixation itself is realization, non-fixation itself is unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Et cetera. Commentary. It is said. Second, it is revealed that the mind's attachment to Dharma and desire obscures the meaning: The conventional mind of mere expression, if it promises non-arising, because there is a promise, it is not non-arising. If one desires non-arising, then merely desiring will obscure it. The foolish are far from it, they do not understand its meaning. Et cetera. Third, the reason why the Buddha is not an object of the mind is: Thought and awareness are deluded, there is no Buddha in the deluded mind. The Buddha is self-liberated wisdom, how could there be mind and conceptualization in the mind? How could there be body and habitual tendencies? There is no action and no knowing. Et cetera. Fourth, it is revealed that symbolizing is not contradictory, it can be applied to mind and conceptualization: It is merely a symbolic representation. Et cetera. Fifth, it can be applied to transcending correct calculation: The true meaning is this, it cannot be indicated, it is without bias, it transcends fixation and non-fixation. Attaining Prajnaparamita, and Prajnaparamita is also non-fixation. When practicing Prajnaparamita with non-fixation, one sees that all Dharmas are included in Prajnaparamita, Dharma

are also not perceived. Why is that? Because, like this, those dharmas and the Perfection of Wisdom are non-dual, they cannot be made into two. Why is that? Because, like this, those dharmas are something that cannot be differentiated in any way, because they have been shown in the realm of dharma, shown in suchness, shown in the ultimate limit, all dharmas are without distinction. This is said in the extensive Mother Sutra. Commentary. And so on. The ultimate meaning of the five treatises, shown in a way that is free from elaboration, is no different from the intention of the Madhyamaka collections of reasonings, so it cannot be explained extensively. Abandoning the thought of antidote and what is to be abandoned, Eliminating the four fixations on characteristics regarding the result, At that time, one manifests the body of space, The flower of names blossoms at that time. As it is said, abandoning the clinging to what is to be abandoned, the clinging to the antidote, and the clinging to characteristics in suchness, and the four clingings to characteristics in the result. When one is free from these four clingings, one abandons the afflictive obscurations and the cognitive obscurations, along with their habitual tendencies, and attains the Dharmakaya, which is like space, and the Rupakaya, in which the flowers of marks and signs blossom, arises. Yogis who are not skilled in terminology cannot ascertain the general meaning. However, by meditating on the yoga of calm abiding and insight, one can manifest self-characteristics. Gonpo Bampa said: Without beginning, middle, or end, Without distinctions, free from two and three, Immaculate, without thought, Realizing the nature of the Dharmadhatu, Is seen by the yogi in equipoise. As it is said. Sixth, it is shown that one should not accept or reject what arises naturally. If it arises naturally, anything is the same. One should not abandon it, one should not grasp it. That is to say, some people take emptiness as an enemy, While doing their own acts of generosity and so on, they despise the virtuous actions of others' body and speech; while striving to repair the roads of black people and common roots of virtue, they despise others building the three supports; while striving to recite the six-syllable mantra for eons, they despise others' vast learning and contemplation; while striving for intermediate roots of virtue that are not related to vows, they despise others' pure protection of the three vows. These are all the practice of the power of natural arising without interruption and the two accumulations.
