Relying on speech leads to confusion. Excessive alcohol disrupts all the elements of the body. Since there is no greater enemy for practitioners than alcohol and sleep, they should be completely abandoned for a long time. Women do not become companions in the Dharma, because few are capable of being vessels of merit and wealth, they become obstacles to virtue, and friends who rely on all afflictions. Women are demonesses who ruin practitioners, thieves who steal experience, so they should be regarded as demons. Tibetan mudra women cannot be liberated. Those who like both of these will not enter the path of practice, because the crookedness of wisdom cannot be straightened, and virtuous deeds will not increase, so they are objects to be abandoned. In the Sutra Requested by the Householder Drashul, it says: Householder! You should also generate three thoughts towards your own wife: the thought of impurity, the thought of filth, and the thought of disharmony. In the Sutra Requested by King Badsala Charché, it says: Those who are not wise, practice the behavior of donkeys, and rely on women, are like pigs relying on filth. It is said. Third, friends. This is to show that there is no need to rely on bad friends. Forgetting gratitude to those who place kindness on a human body with a bull's heart is like milk on a bottle of poison. Although residing in a human body, it is the heart of a bull, because it is a stubborn person lacking compassion, and has no gratitude for what has been done, so it has become no different from an animal. There is no use in showing kindness to such people, because they do not feel the kindness shown. They are ungrateful for any small matter. Those who do not benefit themselves or others are pure animals, relying on a heartless lung. Because there are many such people, the holy ones say: This herd of animals is a bit too large. I have never seen anyone more foolish than a human being, they say. The body ages, but the mind does not feel it, that is an animal. Not fearing death is an animal. Not thinking of practicing Dharma in this life is this herd of animals. Not fearing sin and non-virtue is an animal. Not fearing falling into the abyss of the lower realms is an animal. Not fearing the prison of samsara without liberation is an animal. This is said to ordinary people. Those who change their minds with sectarianism are also mostly animals, greedy for vows.

Not clinging to things, merely limiting actions to the necessities of this life, yet desiring the fruit of enlightenment; not accumulating merit, yet hoping to see the nature of reality; And, clinging to the permanence of external objects, not elevating one's own continuum yet hoping to surpass the mundane, thinking oneself greater than the Buddha; not listening to the Dharma yet claiming to know; meditating blindly without the guru's instructions; practicing Dharma without repeated practice in realization; not accumulating merit yet despising cause and effect; doing a few virtuous deeds and saying one cannot become a Buddha, and scolding practitioners, know that these are the actions of animals. Fourth, this explains the cause of disrespect. The so-called person who associates with the guru for a long time, but whose merits do not increase, generally, the method to increase merit is not to be arrogant in front of the wise, to be content with one's own thoughts, with a particularly respectful heart, even if lying on the ground like a dog, one will receive blessings by generating faith in them, if one is self-important, one cannot obtain it. Regarding the merits of the guru and Khenpo, even if one relies on those who slander them without prejudice for a long time, it is very difficult to learn, so what can a person who has been associating for a long time obtain? It is very rare to have merits gush out like water as soon as one meets. There is a special method to learn merits effortlessly, that is, it also depends on the disciple's capacity. All friendly behavior depends on the support, the best is to please through offerings, the medium is to please through behavior, the least important is to please through wealth. There are also people who do not increase their merits even after associating for a long time, that is, those who think they are greater than the guru, regard the guru's thoughts as their own, saying it is like not saying it, using deception to obtain teachings, stealing oral instructions, belittling the guru to elevate themselves, secretly bribing the guru, despising kindness, spying on the guru's secrets, competing with the guru, forgetting kindness, intending to make offerings but regretting it, not seeing the advantages of the wise, not having joy in the guru's gifts, complaining to the guru about kindness, treating seeking Dharma as a transaction, etc., these people's continuums will not generate special merits, and vows will also be broken because of this. The method to let merits merge into the continuum is to rely on it for a long time.
