Here it is. For a person who has entered the path of practice, if they have not subdued the seat of practice, then understanding the Dharma will be of no help. Even if one knows the profound instructions of Jambudvipa, the secret treasury of the Dakinis, one cannot integrate view, meditation, and conduct into one's mind. Until one has abandoned worldly affairs, the matter of attaining Buddhahood will not succeed. Because this is the key to going against the grain. If one abandons this life meaninglessly, then virtue and vice will end at the same time. The holy ones say that if one abandons worldly affairs, then merit will be naturally fulfilled. Jowo also said this in his instructions to the yogi Khri mchog. For worldly people, there are few meaningful things to do. Please understand that whatever is not beneficial for the next life should be abandoned, there is no need for it. Merely things that do not transform into Dharma are harmful to the next life. Comfortable sleep is also an action. Abandoning worldly affairs is being a practitioner. From the poem "Garland of Zamatog": The helmsman who accomplishes the benefit and happiness of the continent, his mind is at ease. The yogi who has dispelled delusion, his awareness is at ease. The yogi who has abandoned worldly affairs, his conduct is at ease. So it is said. The fifth is to recognize the demon of litigation. The so-called "fan of obstacles to merit" refers to: the demon of enjoyment of outer appearances, which causes practitioners to lose their own benefit. A person who accumulates merit in this life wastes their life on a path of distraction, so on the day they face death, it is impossible not to regret it. The practitioner's own benefit is being deceived by merit. The demon of obstacles makes merit the primary task of what is to be accomplished. Therefore, on the path of practice, practice is like not drinking the essence. This is an obstacle that prevents the appearance of signs on the path. Practitioners should not cling to inferior places, but should specifically pursue the noble path. Please understand that this demon who does not grant Bodhi is waving a fan from the outside in. There is no such thing as a jewel without light. There is no such thing as a Buddha without signs. There is no such thing as a path of liberation without enemies. It is only important that practice is not disturbed by adverse conditions. From the poem "Garland of Zamatog": Do not let the great wheel fall into the mouth of the crocodile. Do not let the Dharma of the gods fall into the mouth of the Dharma of men. Do not let Bodhi fall into the hands of others. Do not let practice fall into the hands of merit. Do not let good deeds fall into the hands of fools. Do not let the benefit and happiness of the continent fall into the hands of women.

Say. Do not let the king listen to the minister's slander, and do not let the practice be disturbed by obstacles. Said. The sixth is to show that you should be alone like a demon. What is said to avoid noise and distraction is to counteract them. If a practitioner does not associate with people, there is no suffering. Caring for the faces of many people will make the heart tired. In the midst of noise, good deeds will not increase. Distraction is an obstacle to good deeds. If you reduce external socializing, the heart will be calm. Do not associate with people, do not rely on the family of powerful people, practitioners should not preach, do not reveal your heart to those who do not believe in Buddhism, do not seek benefits with merit, do not pretend to be a great person, and do not say that you know these merits. Do not rely on strong food, and do not practice with expedient measures. The most important thing for a practitioner is not to pursue fame, to be able to protect one's own essence, and not to be controlled by distraction. From the perspective of clear Bindu: The treasure vase of the borderland, if it encounters a bad son, is like a merchant who loses his way in the downtown area, and will never be found. Being respected will obscure the holy path, and it is easy to attain Bodhi in a humble place. Noise is the demon of meditation, and liberation from obstacles can be achieved by staying away from distraction. Said. The seventh is to show that two conditions arise from one cause. What is said that friends are the root of attachment and aversion, for the initial practitioners, the practitioners who change their sectarian views, and the people who are on the path, the common point is that they develop attachment to friendly friends. If the friend is bad, then the mind of hatred will arise, which is a general rule. Beings have the nature of converging and exaggerating. If a friend is stronger than oneself, one will be jealous and hateful. If a friend is weaker than oneself, one will despise and squint at others. There are definitely many of these people, which is annoying. One cannot see the good qualities of others, but can see small shortcomings. Relying on oneself, one accumulates the sins of others. There is no need for nine gathered Garudas. A practitioner with too many friends has no merit. The time has not come to preach and teach sentient beings. It is best to tame oneself, so now is the time to be alone like keeping precepts. The eighth is to show the metaphor of abandonment. Stay alone like a wounded beast, this is to recognize this truth with a metaphor, just like when a wounded beast heals and when it leaves the herd.
