I didn't understand. In Bil (Bil) Nyenam (snye nam), to the nomadic translator Shakya Friend (shAkya bshes gnyen): By seeing this, by perceiving this, this is the essence of the Dharma. The talk of things Thus it was conveyed. He said he didn't understand. Because of fear of official writing, I won't say much here. The details should be understood in Chol Lu (chol lu). Therefore He spoke of eight things. First, because of invoking compassionate activity, he spoke these spontaneous instructions. The Holy One said: I have come to Tibet several times. Acharya Spangpo sent a heartfelt message, which said: First, after obtaining the siddhi of swift feet from the goddess Ra ma ti. The golden center of the world, the banner that never falls. From the east of Vajrasana (rdo rje gdan), the place of Ka ma ru, cutting off the six great tribes of evil lineage. He came to the eastern gate of Tag Dung. I once toured the northern kingdom of Bartani in Tibet. That was not because I was happy, but because I went to the temple of Khasapani because a voice came from the sky. It is said. The second time from the temple of Kambali Jade Palace in the south, I confessed the place of Beta, and came to the southern tiger gate of Shaugh. That was not because the snowy kingdom was declining, but to see the place of the Dakinis. It is said. Once from the temple of Dharma Ganza, the treasury of Dharma, from Orgyen to the top of western Nyenam. That was not because I wanted to go to the northern gold mine, but because of a major event, I went to repay my debts. It is said. Once from the temple of Vikramashila, walking through the disputes, I went on the western Nepalese road. Like this, coming here many times is not for myself, but for the sake of other sentient beings. It is said. To the great black Acharya who transcends ordinary people, Dro Gom ( 'bro sgom) Zungtsan (gzungs btsan) said: Holy One, I would like to ask for an instruction. It is said. The master said: What is the use of instruction? It is said. He said: I want to do some Dharma. The Holy One said: Dharma, what can it do? If you can't see even a little bit of effect, if you say you can do it, then don't do smart Dharma, don't do great Dharma, don't do the Dharma in front, don't do smart D

Don't be too short. Don't practice Dharma too superficially. Don't practice Dharma too shallowly. Don't practice Dharma too richly. Don't let the retinue be too coarse. Don't occupy high positions in Dharma practice. He gave good advice. Furthermore, to Geshe Sba Lotsawa, who stirs the heart, behaves improperly, and falls into the abyss of hell, he said: Let him understand these principles. After advising in this way, he said he didn't understand. In Bilnye Nam, to the nomadic translator Shakya Geshe, he said: You have seen these, you have seen these. This is the essence of the Dharma. These words were conveyed. He said he didn't understand. Because he was afraid of the government's writing, he didn't say much here. Detailed information should be understood in Chol Lung (place name). Second, one cannot understand the key points without accumulating merit. This is decided by one's own secret method. The venerable one said that those who have no merit, wander in samsara, and whose hearts are full of desires, cannot understand that this is instruction. It is said that the venerable one was generally dissatisfied with the translators. Dog translators, fox translators, there are no Tibetan translators after Shamatha-vipassana. It is said. He is referring to this reason: Those who desire liberation, For the fortunate person, the initial basic transformation, it is necessary to have something like the alchemy of turning iron into gold. Even if one understands the Dharma, but one's mind still remains in the position of an ordinary person, and one's behavior follows worldly people, There is no chance to change one's mind in this life. For those who want to enter the door of practice, it is necessary to have something like iron encountering a magnet in the middle. Even if one understands the Dharma, but one's mind indulges in delusion, If one does not practice, because one is not tired of samsara, one has no merit. For those who desire peaceful nirvana, it is necessary to have something like molten iron poured into iron that will never change in the end. Even if one understands the Dharma, but one's mind does not reduce afflictions, those who are full of attachment to the world have no chance to change their desires. In this way, due to the three causes of having no merit, the net of existence will not collapse. Even if one understands the Dharma, but one's mind has not transcended the ordinary, Therefore, one wanders in samsara. So, what is the root cause of the answer? Because the initial foundation has not been transformed, and one cannot change one's mind in this life. Even if one understands the Dharma, One's mind indulges in delusion, so one wanders in samsara. The root cause is that one does not grasp the path in the middle.
