This is the teaching. If one does not abandon the clinging to reality, one will not become a Buddha. Or, for ordinary people who do not incline towards sectarian views, the reality of self-existent things, the essence of appearances, is emptiness. Because they do not place the lotus feet of the Lama on their heads, they secretly cut themselves off, and do not recognize the objects of the six consciousnesses as illusory appearances. This becomes the root of faults, causing great trouble. Because they do not understand that conventional reality has no self-nature, they become deluded by clinging to their own views. Because they see that as true, that is the realization of clinging to reality. That is the lifeblood of samsara, the place of birth of existence, the seed of the ripening of karma, the place where afflictions arise. Until that knowledge that grasps what is not it as it is is abandoned, the awareness of dualistic appearances will not dissolve in its own place. Therefore, delusion cannot be destroyed. As long as delusion has not disappeared, then, becoming a Buddha Or, that is the nature of sentient beings' afflictions, possessing all bonds. It will not come about, because the delusion of conceptual thought exists. As the venerable master said, on the dangerous path of grasping and being grasped, the path of liberation has not been inserted. It is indeed so, because there is no enlightenment in the realm of grasping and being grasped, so the steps of peaceful nirvana will not reach there. Therefore, one will not enter that path. Non-conceptual wisdom and grasping and being grasped are intertwined. Grasping and being grasped is the cause of samsara, grasping and being grasped is the field of delusion, grasping and being grasped is the mother of conceptual thought. Sixth, because one sees this life as true, this is the teaching of not seeing the meaning of the next life. If one does not abandon the clinging to reality, one will not become a Buddha.

Yes, there, until the wisdom that sees clinging to the duality of subject and object is relinquished, the awareness of dualistic appearance will not naturally dissolve. Until then, delusion cannot be destroyed. As long as delusion has not ceased, until then, becoming a Buddha or those sentient beings, possessing the nature of afflictions and all bondages, is impossible, because the delusion of conceptualization exists. As the noble guru said, "On the perilous path of subject and object, there is no path to liberation." Indeed, in the realm of subject and object, there is no Bodhi, so the steps of peace and Nirvana will not fall in that direction, therefore one will not embark on that path. Non-conceptual wisdom and the duality of subject and object are completely opposite. The duality of subject and object is the root of samsara, the duality of subject and object is the field of delusion, the duality of subject and object is the mother of conceptual thought. The duality of subject and object is the glue of attachment and hatred, the duality of subject and object is the rudder of karma, the duality of subject and object is the pillar of afflictions, the duality of subject and object is the key to inverted knowledge. Therefore, as long as one has not separated from the duality of subject and object, until then, one will not become a Buddha, because one has not perfectly abandoned, so one will not attain Bodhi. Once, the guru said, "There is a demon that does not allow present practitioners to attain Bodhi, it seems to be causing harm. What is it? You are entrusted to observe." There, he arranged juniper, barley, and medicine pills on a white felt, placing them on the left. Homage! The arrow and eagle feather arrow of the Thangka, the three-sectioned whip, the magical mirror are all placed on the right. In the white tent, the smoke of incense is burned. With silk tying the head, a dagger is inserted into the waist, holding a yak-tail fan in hand, invoking the powerful, arrogant protector deities residing in the rocky mountains and snow mountains, Gesar, Nyenchen Thanglha, Nyenrom Tsenpo, the thirty-噶赞, Shangdro Jele, and so on.
