This is the chapter on explanation. Venerable, there are not many people who have attained accomplishment in Tibet. Tulkus (Tibetan, master, incarnation)! (I) asked. The Venerable said: People who practice slowly and leisurely will not attain accomplishment. People who have no merit and hold wrong views will not subdue their minds. People who do not accumulate merit and are possessed by hungry ghosts will not generate definite understanding. Shameless people who are greedy for fame and gain have no experience in practice. People who do not renounce samsara cannot reach the end of the Dharma. People without backbone cannot practice asceticism. People who study logic, phonetics, and epistemology cannot understand the oral instructions. People without armor in their hearts cannot accomplish anything. Kunga (Tibetan, joy). Pray! Please practice in my presence. If these are said, then, the meaning of the goal is determined by ten aspects. First, it is explained that virtuous people do not cling to accomplishment. Second, it is explained that the answer to this question is the bondage of laziness and sloth. Third, it is explained that people who have exhausted their merit and lack favorable conditions cannot change their nature. Fourth, it is explained that one should not follow others after one's merit has been exhausted. Fifth, it is explained that if the root does not meet with solid bones, one cannot understand the key to experience. Sixth, it is explained that the demon who has reached the end of karma. This is because of not believing in this life. Seventh, it is explained that it is very important to have determination when wearing armor in the lineage. Eighth, it is explained that because the Dharma of the masses is polluted, one cannot understand the key flaws. Ninth, it is explained that with a mediocre mind, the armor cannot follow closely. Tenth, it is explained that one cannot be independent until one has perfected the practice. Among them, first, the question of virtuous people not clinging to accomplishment. Venerable, there are very few people who have attained accomplishment in Tibet. Tulku (Tibetan, master, incarnation), I asked: In this snowy land of Tibet, although there are many practitioners, very few show signs of accomplishment. For example, some say that someone has lived for many years by practicing essence extraction, or that someone has gone to the land of the Nagas through underground practice, or that someone has seen the heavenly realm by practicing Yaksha women, even if there are no obvious signs such as swords and shoes, it doesn't matter. Although Tantra is the path of manifestation, there are few people who show the signs of the cause, the signs of the path, and the signs of the result. This is the question asked from this perspective. Second, it is explained that the answer to this question is the bondage of laziness and sloth.

From his mouth: "Those who practice leisurely will not attain accomplishment," which means there is no reason to attain it. Because Tibetan practitioners delay in their practice, demons easily find opportunities, so they do not complete urgent matters. There will be no leisure like "This is the time for practice." Those who prepare for the next life, prioritize this life's livelihood. Those who put important things behind and do unimportant things first will not attain accomplishment. Because in the practice of Tantra, it is necessary to rely on the army of faith and rely on the friend of diligence. Delay itself is the root of laziness. From the mouth of the saint: "When a person delays, the demon of death laughs behind their back." This refers to delaying and not going to practice. It is the time to remember the King of Time. That also requires a bone-like support in the heart. Until this matter is not accomplished, until then, with the determination not to do other things, if the armor is put on later, one will not leave the seat without tasting the flavor. In general, if the practice is not completed in one sitting, merely dividing it into sections is equivalent to wasting it. Because there is no teaching of asceticism in Tibet, they do not know how to connect vows. Taking interruptions as accomplishments, so there is no reason to attain accomplishment. The second is to show that procrastination is the trap of laziness.
