This is the meaning directly expressed. It is difficult to transform a wrong education that has become firmly established in the wrong direction into a good aspect. A person's behavior that has become established is deeply rooted, difficult to change, because it has become firmly rooted in bad habits. For example, just as a rolled-up piece of paper returns to its original shape even when straightened. Similarly, following a bad teacher leads to the formation of wrong education, instilling knowledge into wrong sects. Therefore, once a person's mind is rooted in evil deeds, it is difficult to change, unable to embark on the right path. There are two ways to correct it: if the person is dull, he must be subdued with force like taming a wild horse, and placed in concentration. If the person is intelligent, he must be tamed slowly like taming an elephant, guided through persuasion, destruction, and maintaining equanimity. If his view is close to emptiness, he must start from cause and effect, gradually guiding him upwards. If his view is low, he must introduce the various aspects of wisdom, that is, all phenomena are empty in nature. The Supreme Rinpoche once said, "Who knows how to guide people onto the right path?" Tenth, anger hidden in the heart will create enemies on the outside. If a person cannot control the evil habits in his heart, then external harm will never cease. Therefore, to attain liberation, one must thoroughly tame one's own mind. Some people do not accumulate merit and are useless. Their evil habits are like a dog barking at a stone. Because they cannot control the power in their hearts, they are always associating with enemies. For those whose hearts are filled with resentment, external harm is like the eyes of a poisonous snake, seeing everything as an enemy, never ceasing. They think that external things will harm them, which is a false perception. Therefore, if one relies on patience, one can obtain special merit. If there is no anger, to whom do you practice patience? By counteracting afflictions, one can cut off the path of samsara. The Supreme Rinpoche once said, "The perfection of patience is the best, able to eliminate small evil habits." Eleventh, regarding worldly qualities as something to be abandoned. If one cannot accomplish the Dharma, then even if one possesses worldly power, wealth, and status, it is meaningless. It is said that this was said while looking at the prosperity of the Dro family. Obtaining a human body is

If one is caught up in worldly affairs, the purpose of wisdom is lost. If virtuous deeds are not accomplished, the need to know the Dharma is lost. For worldly people, even if they are happy, without the Dharma, human life is wasted. The firm goal of a Dharma practitioner cannot be harmed by anyone. To be rich, that is, to have abundant wealth, and to flourish, that is, to have many descendants, but if one does not have the provisions for the next life, then there is no need for these three to be together, because they will again become the cause of samsara and will not benefit the next life. If they do not become companions of the Dharma, then their purpose is lost. Ordinary people, because they do not understand these reasons, are deluded by the consequences of ignorance, and those who distort right and wrong should not regard these three as goals to be pursued, but as things to be abandoned. Because worldly qualities are the wrong path for practitioners. Dampa Rinpoche said, "For people who cherish harmful things, the sky will make a 'Ah!' sound." Twelfth, supreme meaning cannot be accomplished with frivolous words. For people without perseverance, becoming a Buddha or approaching the state of Buddha is rare, meaning: If a person is weak-willed, practice will be shaken by circumstances. Cowardly people will not strive to practice. Impatient people, because they are greedy for immediate gains, cannot keep their vows. People who desire the path of liberation, if they do not have perseverance, cannot complete asceticism. For people without drive, determination, and perseverance, they cannot experience view and meditation, so becoming a Buddha or approaching the state of Buddha is meaningless. In general, people without perseverance cannot accomplish anything. Especially for people who practice the Dharma, if there is no firm belief in their hearts, then obtaining the three kayas of fruition is extremely rare. Therefore, when practicing, one must have drive, determination, and perseverance. Dampa Rinpoche said, "If you want to become a Buddha or approach the state of Buddha, there must be a certain quality in your heart, but few people have this quality." Fifth, this chapter on essential words, teachings, and lineage is divided into eleven sections. First, it explains that if practice is not regarded as the core, then the Dharma cannot become true Dharma. Dampa Rinpoche said, "It is not enough to just know the Dharma, you must practice it." "Let go of samsara," this is the instruction of the oral tradition. Dampa Rinpoche said to the teacher Zungtsen:
