It is the guide of the path of liberation, the treasure of virtues. Although it is the source of blessings, blessings will not enter if devotion and faith are not generated. For example, the wish-fulfilling jewel is a treasure of needs and desires, but if one does not pray, merits will not arise. In order for realization to arise in the mindstream, it is crucial for the blessings of the guru to enter the mind. However, if one does not have devotion and faith, blessings will not enter. Among these three, great devotion leads to great blessings, medium devotion leads to medium blessings, and small devotion leads to small blessings. The holy one said: Tibetan bees are too foolish to know how to suck nectar. However, both male and female bees come to the same flower. There is a bee in the south that knows how to suck nectar as amrita. All the bees of Dingri (present-day Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet) should submit to its feet, so it is said. Gya Gom Ma asked: What is that bee? The answer was: It is the one who wears jewels as ornaments on the crown of her head, so it is said. Secondly, this is to recognize the object that causes the ultimate truth to enter the mind. If definite knowledge is not generated, then one will not obtain the key instructions. Therefore, for those with pure and excellent intention, the stain of doubt must be removed as an ornament. If definite knowledge is not generated, then one cannot cut off superimpositions. Therefore, as long as a person's mind is not separated from duality, the key instructions will not benefit that person's mindstream, because the power of not generating definite knowledge causes that person not to cherish it. Even if it is a key instruction from an oral transmission lineage, one will not be able to recognize it from within. Therefore, if one does not believe in the profound meaning, it will not become a gateway to understanding the essential points. Dampa Rinpoche said: A person who does not know how to recognize jewels will not find jewels on the island. A mind that does not believe cannot attach to the meaning of the scriptures, nor will the supreme meaning be manifested therein. The kind guru said: These Tibetan children are blinded by arrogance. Compared to other key instructions, they only like to practice Phowa (transference of consciousness). This is very true, because through mind training, definite knowledge arises. Meaning arises in it, and one understands the essential points of the oral instructions, so it is said. Thirdly, this is not to be negligent of Bodhi. If one does not accomplish one's own benefit, then there is no need to become a servant of others. This was said to Je Tripa. The hundred-headed
