No. Sixth, cutting off the reversed knowledge, this is it. If there are too many distracting thoughts, wisdom is wasted on useless things, meaning: In the beginning, when practicing, the short duration of focus causes various distracting thoughts to spread everywhere. This fault causes the mind to be unstable, knowledge to be superficial, frivolous and scattered, the mind to be uneasy, to be capricious, to be restless, etc. If it is too scattered, then the wisdom should be strongly gathered into one object with the view, suppressing the upward-moving air, so that the wisdom can be used in practice. Om. Therefore, it will fall into the path of scattering. Seventh, if you are attached, you should shift the target, this is it. If there is no progress in practice, you should shift the focus of wisdom, meaning: If you are attached to meditation, there is no progress in practice, and you cannot combine it with post-meditation behavior, then you should not be attached to the exertion of wisdom. In order to break free from it, you must shift the focus, and there are three key points for this. First, transform to bliss: keep the body upright, bend the neck slightly to the left, and use the view to pull the consciousness back from the previous thoughts, suppress the upward-moving air, and raise the downward-moving air, so that the channels are as tight as a bamboo tube, and the air runs like an arrow. Visualize emptiness in the heart, look upwards, and focus the mind on the Bodhi mind like a full moon. Focus the consciousness on the slightly dripping Hum (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum). Second, transform to clarity: the body is in the posture of Vairochana Buddha, repeatedly look at the image in the wiped mirror in front. Understanding that the appearance of the image is not real, this mind that is not attached to the appearance should be gradually prolonged and dwell in it. Afterwards, the inseparability of appearance and emptiness will arise. Although there is no duality of the one who meditates and the one who is meditated upon, temporarily, in order to indicate this, it is called meditation. Third, transform to non-thought: keep the body upright, breathe evenly, and in the way that the mind naturally dwells, settle the consciousness on the object of focus. Not scattering outwards, afterwards, you will realize that all dharmas are unborn and unceasing, for example, understanding that ice is water, just like simply recognizing that ice is water. Afterwards, there is no need to meditate on non-birth, just like seeing ice as a cause, and the arising of the recognition of water, any appearance acts as a cause, and that is it.

Realizing the unborn, this is called the Mahamudra meditation. Eighth, what does it mean to have a lion sleep in a dog's kennel? If great pride arises, then act with humility, which means: There are two ways to explain this, the literal meaning and the hidden meaning. If you act according to the literal meaning, if pride arises from a great body, lineage, and qualities, then the water of others' qualities will not flow on it. Excessive pride is the blessing of the devil, so to counteract it, act with humility. The behavior of a low caste transcends the realm of the devil. Second, if you act according to the hidden meaning, if great pride in the instructions arises, surpassing the means, and from wisdom, you go too far into the realm of reality, then this is not the path to liberation, so you must act with humility, that is, do not let the means surpass the seal of wisdom, let wisdom enter the bonds of means, and do not let it go beyond the realm of reality. Ninth, what does it mean to demote a king to a commoner? If pride and self-importance arise, wear ragged clothes, which means: Yogis should not seek high positions from their own positions, because pride and self-importance are the adornments and pleasures of worldly people. If he thinks those are beautiful, the yogi's mind will flow outward. There is nothing greater than this to hinder the path of renunciation, so to counteract it, wear ragged clothes, making it a lowly decoration, thereby driving out the demon of pride. Tenth, what does it mean to stretch out the appearance of the magic net? If virtue increases, extend the vows outward, which means: This is a practice method of asceticism. If any form of virtue increases, it is a demonstration of the continuation and improvement of goodness. Therefore, the initial vow is grasped by understanding, and extending it outward is good for the future. If it does not increase, the bad state must be destroyed, because protecting the bad while extending the good, the result is like a crescent moon. Eleventh, what does it mean to drink the blood of a lion's heart? If attachment is strong, forcibly cut off the clinging, which means: Liberating the mind of desire will not give rise to attachment. If you have a strong attachment to anything, it is a vulgar mind. Therefore, do not have a strong attachment to anything.
