The exhaustion is the realization of the meaning of non-existence. The so-called emptiness of essence is not like a rabbit's horn, nor like the child of a barren woman, but refers to the emptiness of appearance by appearance. Understanding the faults of external objects will eventually lead to returning inward. Abandoning the many discriminating thoughts of the Svatantrika school is to get rid of the demonic obstacles of clinging to reality. Cutting off doubts is realizing emptiness. Realizing that the objects of the six senses appear without inherent existence is prostration. Realizing the meaning of non-retrogression is vast. Surpassing attachment to external objects is great. By this, the appearance of dualistic grasping is destroyed, thereby establishing the groundlessness, which is the view. Awareness does not follow appearances but abides in the view, which is meditation. By this, ordinary consciousness is cut off, and following the view and meditation is action. By this, the purification of deluded appearances is auspicious. The perfect wisdom arising from this is the fruit. A person who has not integrated the key instructions into their heart only clings to an empty state. Therefore, if one thinks that the meaning of Dharma-nature is emptiness and only keeps the appearance in the mind, experience will not arise in the mindstream. If awareness is not led onto the path, and one only rests the mind on the basis of emptiness, one will fall into a dazed emptiness and will not attain the enlightened wisdom of the Buddha. The meaning of the purity of the three times is this: awareness does not follow the past, the future does not appear, the present is not conceptualized, and being free from mental discrimination is called the mind of the Buddha. These teachings that seem to understand the Dharma are actually ordinary and real. Do not be swayed by sectarianism. If you are swayed by sectarianism, then your behavior must be different from that of the world. If you want to attain the fruit of transcendence but conform to worldly behavior, it cannot be achieved. Here, the Dharma of the human realm cannot become the true path. Regarding worldly things as virtues is a deviation for practitioners. If you deliberately perform meritorious deeds, you will surely be deceived by demons. Once merit increases and fame arises, and you are adorned with the ornaments of the eight worldly concerns, the defilement of samsara will become even more serious. In this way, not even a trace of experience can arise, and you will move further away from Nirvana, which is of no benefit. The distinction of surpassing non-Buddhists is the path of refuge, which must be remembered.

It is the self-nature ground of yoga. Having renunciation from samsara is not prostrating to other gods. Abandoning non-dharmic actions is not harming sentient beings. Not imitating worldly behavior is not associating with tirthikas. Surpassing the inferior is the path of bodhicitta, it is the self-nature ground of yoga. Realizing the meaning of the selflessness of phenomena. The characteristic of the experience of bliss-emptiness without outflows. When the essence of simplicity, co-emergent arises, there is none that does not become the object of compassion for sentient beings in samsara, therefore it is unfabricated immeasurable compassion. Causing the immature to mature is the path of empowerment, it is the self-nature ground of yoga. Arranging interdependence on the body is the mandala. Experience arising in the mind is the retinue. Regarding the lama as the Buddha is the vase. The essence of mind training is the ritual. By this, transforming the support into Mahamudra is empowerment itself. Causing the mature to be liberated is the path of generation and completion, it is the self-nature ground of yoga. Meditating on the lama on the crown of the head, making one's own body superior to the ordinary, is the generation stage. Awareness not stolen by the conditions of the six consciousnesses. Surpassing ordinary conceptual thought is the completion stage. There is nothing that is not pervaded by nature, the Sugata-garbha itself pervades oneself, this is called empowerment. The lama points out through symbolic means, thereby revealing the meaning of reality, this is called transmission. Having realized this, knowing that appearance and emptiness are inseparable. The outer vessel is the palace, the inner essence is the deity and consort. However, also knowing that appearance is without inherent existence, like an illusion, this is called attainment. Having understood external appearances in this way, abandoning the eight worldly dharmas to be abandoned, this is called washing. Having realized this, realizing the selflessness of the person, this is called purification. Appearance and emptiness are inseparable, abiding in self-liberation, is the meaning of view, thus arising experience in the continuum, this is called fulfillment. The definitive understanding of the outer vase empowerment should be known in this way. For sentient beings with bodies, the channels, winds, and bindus abide within, because of the bliss that depends on this, it is called empowerment. Relying on karma mudra, union of bliss and emptiness, tummo, directly experiencing bliss, recognizing through the four joys and four emptinesses, this is called transmission.
