Because it is not, distinctions are not made. By viewing the non-path as the path, the cause of meditation going astray arises from non-genuine meditation. If images are grasped as real, how can delusion be eliminated? Purity and extreme subtlety are very important, it was said. Again, it was said, if one does not rely on a guru with oral transmission, the mind that speculates with images cannot be exhausted. If view goes astray there, the color of ordinariness will not change. Because wisdom does not arise from abiding in images, if one meditates there, error will occur and afflictions will flow into one's own mindstream. Because the practice of images does not give rise to experience, if one acts there, error will occur and the mouth of attachment and aversion will not be cut off. Because view, meditation, and action go astray, one will lose hope for the result, it was said. Again, it was said, in general, one does not know what will become an obstacle to practicing Dharma, one does not know what will open the door to realization, one is not sure what will become the key to the essential points of the instructions, one does not know how the guru's blessing will enter, one is not sure from what the causes of experience will arise, one is not sure what will become the identification of faults. Even if one meditates, one does not possess the nature of cutting off superimpositions. If definite knowledge has not arisen, even if there are many appearances of instructions, they are of no benefit, because the gurus of the present time fill themselves with empty vases, confusing the vase and the owner, and regarding them as one, it was said. Again, it was said, even if one is learned and wisdom blazes like fire, the nature of realizing the view will not appear. Even if one is intelligent and knows many Dharmas, the nature of generating samadhi will not exist in one's mindstream. This view and meditation arise in the mindstream of someone who has accumulated merit. It is important that the guru's blessing enters, it is important that definite knowledge arises about the instructions, it is important that faith and diligence are accompanied. In general, if even a bean cannot stand on suffering, practice will not reach the end, it was said. Again, on one occasion, the guru said, even if the guru cherishes one greatly in his heart, there are still many enemies on the path to liberation. The demon of practicing Dharma arises, *sam* (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) increases, and the banner of pride cannot be lowered. The demon of practicing Dharma arises, resources increase, and the clinging of attachment cannot be cut off. The demon of practicing Dharma arises, the penis. The boundaries of activities cannot be gathered. The demon of practicing Dharma arises, merit increases, and there is no time for actual practice.

ī could not find it. Skilled at turning practitioners into demons. Even when old, one cannot get rid of that hand. Practice Dharma from the heart. Na. It is said that one must turn one's mind away from worldly pleasures. Again, it is said that generally, this certainty arises from accumulating merit. Free from doubt. Now. It is very important not to be indecisive. This instruction arises from oral transmission. Unmixed, related to experience, accompanied by blessings, grasping the key points is very important. Realization arises from signs. For signs, it is important that they are not leaked when one keeps silent, that they are not widespread, and that they are not rigid. This experience arises from asceticism. It is very important that practice does not regress, that blessings do not diminish, and that it does not become inverted. Again, it is said that in general, if the initial meditation does not become rigid, then the later practice will become inverted. If an introduction does not leave a mark, then the profound meaning will be transferred elsewhere. If the key point of the instruction destroys certainty, it is useless even if one does not accumulate letters. Whatever gives rise to certainty, that is one's own Dharma destiny. Therefore, one should strive to practice. Once, Geshe Daryung said: It seems difficult for us disciples to gather together. Now we would like to request the profound instruction of the precious master. After saying this, he clapped his hands three times. Even the protector Shakyamuni, who is beneficial to those whose faith is like a withered tree and who yearn for it, cannot help. Have firm faith! Please keep it in mind. Then the master instructed: What do you do with the Dharma? It seems certain that you do not want to become a Buddha. You whip yourself with virtuous deeds day and night, but you cannot even do it for half a month. You are just eloquent. He said, if there is an instruction, there should be practice and a pillow book. Then the master laughed for a long time and said: What you say makes sense, but you cannot prove it. You do have it. Behavior that is in accordance with the Dharma is very important, but you do not have it. Preaching the Dharma to those who only care about their stomachs is just talking. The noble Avalokiteshvara is the nature of compassion, but his power is bound by the karma of sentient beings. I may have instructions, but
