He said that it depends on the practice of the stages of the path (Stages of the path, Tibetan: ར་ལམ།). When asked what is Black Guidance (Black Guidance, Tibetan: ནག་ཁྲིད།) and its impurities? He answered: Black Guidance Is the clear writing of letters on a forgetful stone. It is said to be written on white paper, which means that the oral instructions passed down through the lineage have become a written form, which is good. It is like a king laying the foundation stone. The impurity in it is due to the mixture of the conceptual thoughts of ordinary people. It is like mixing a lot of water in the milk in the market. It is like mixing a lot of impurities in gold. In the realm of the Buddhas, ordinary people have all kinds of bondage, and the conceptual thoughts of ordinary people are mixed in it. The arrangement of words and sentences is very good. Practitioners do not integrate their views into their minds, but only look at the small booklet, so they cannot cut off the additions and subtractions. Because the real meaning is not in the words, because the Dharma nature is beyond words. The nature of things is like this. The greatness of the method lies in using the leaves of words to depict the gold of meaning. When looking at the written form of Black Guidance in sutras, tantras, treatises, and the guru's instructions, the impurity is not to cut off the leaves of words, but to look at the lower part like looking at the chin. This is impurity, and it should not be done. Holding on to the understanding of the expression of words and not looking at others is impurity. It is impurity to ask others when you clearly see its essence. It is impurity to sell the instructions of the practice lineage as food and property. It is impurity if the wealth obtained by Dharma is too much in the place of practice. It is impurity to have the idea of using this to promote fame and reputation. It is impurity to think of using these words to defeat evil debaters. It is impurity to slander the sectarian views. It is impurity not to liberate the extreme bondage. It is impurity to slander the profound meaning. It is impurity to misunderstand the meaning. It is impurity to talk to others when reading a book. It is impurity to be disrespectful to the Dharma. It is impurity to abandon the cherishing of the instructions. It is impurity not to be surprised by the special qualities. It is impurity to let the meaning of the book revolve in the mind. It is impurity to practice arbitrarily without obtaining the permission of the transmission. If you despise the karmic results, there is no greater impurity than this. ༈ Homage! Dromgom Monlam Changchub (འབྲོ་སྒོམ་སྨོན་ལམ་བྱང་ཆུབ་, 1038-1103) said: This karmic disease that cannot be cured no matter what medicine is used, and the evil spirit that cannot be eliminated no matter how many mantras are recited, both control me.

Gathered together. Although there is faith and skillful means, one is not allowed to practice, like saying that even taking a bite of food hurts the heart. The Lama said: Practitioner, without suffering, one cannot listen to renunciation. Where does this saying come from? The chief companion for achieving Bodhi is adverse conditions. The teachings of all the masters who have not hit the nail on the head, and the protection of transforming suffering into happiness through the melting of the mind. Our skillful means, the way of taking the two paths, and the way of cutting off appearances are different. Like the prince, the lion of men, the noble Buddha. The characteristic of the Indian jewel-like skillful means is that it transforms disharmony into the path, therefore it is sublime. There, turning adverse conditions into supportive conditions, like the root of disease nourishing the body, this is not found in other practice lineages. Everyone else wants to attain happiness, wants to abandon samsara, wants to attain Buddhahood. That is the opposite antidote, which is very serious. The thought of wanting to attain the fruit hinders the attainment of the fruit and becomes an obstacle. Wanting to abandon suffering will only lead to more suffering. Wanting to attain happiness will never find happiness. Because the end of desire is suffering. Practitioner, on the level of what is to be known, there is no distinction between happiness and suffering. The so-called equality of taste refers to bringing both into the path of manifestation. Through the thinking of discrimination, the mind falls into happiness and suffering. If one does not think through discrimination, there is no happiness or suffering. Buddhahood cannot be attained from elsewhere. If discrimination does not disappear, suffering will suddenly arise. Samsara is not elsewhere. Practitioner, there is no samsara in the nature. Beyond thinking and not thinking with discrimination, there is no difference between samsara and nirvana. That is called the undifferentiated nature. It is called mantra union. Thus he said. Again he said. Practitioner, do not treat illness and suffering as something to be abandoned. This is very precious. Because the conditions for Dharma will arise in a kalpa. Merit will arise from suffering. It will let go of affairs, it will turn the mind away from the greatness of the world, it will cut off one's pride and arrogance, it will avoid evil and engage in virtue, it will destroy attachment to this life and turn the mind away from samsara, it will whip on diligence, and
